Welcome to our modernized holiday home Swölke, located in the Feldberger Seenplatte, Mecklenburg Lake District. Our cozy holiday home offers space for up to 4 guests, with a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child possible.
The house features a spacious living room with dining area. There is a comfortable sofa bed for up to 2 children or one adult. A sitting area by the fireplace provides cozy hours by the fire. Of course, there are a television, stereo system with radio, board games, and WiFi available.
The open kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, including a microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, and a refrigerator with a double freezer compartment for the children's ice cream. The bedroom is cozy with wooden furniture, a wardrobe, and a double bed, as well as a reading lamp by the bed. Here, too, you have a view of the garden. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and also underfloor heating, as well as a window.
The garden area is specially designed with several spots for relaxing and sunbathing. First, you will find the large covered breakfast terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sun. At midday, sun loungers are available for you, and those who like to stay active can use the terrace swing with a view of the garden. You can end the day comfortably at the specially created barbecue area with a standing grill and wooden benches.
Our holiday home Swölke is not only suitable for short stays, but also for long-term rentals. It is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, as there is no road traffic passing by the property. Our property is completely fenced, so you can let your children or your dog play in the garden without worry, and it is also far from a road (approx. 60 m), so neither you nor your family will be stressed. The property faces south, so the sun shines over the sunbathing lawn.
Ideal for anglers, children, holidays with dogs, or those seeking peace and quiet. It is only about 4 minutes on foot, more beautiful bathing lakes in the area – lots of water and greenery – ideal for a lovely vacation.

Welcome to the Feldberg Lake District
Our holiday homes are located in the beautiful region of the Feldberg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the land of a thousand lakes. A gently rolling landscape, crisscrossed with many small and large lakes, with ancient beech forests, tree-lined avenues, and many nature reserves. Otters, beavers, and badgers still make their home here. Of course, fox and hare also say good night to each other. The variety of lakes is immense; here are just the largest lakes: Carwitzer See, Breiter Luzin, Zansen, Schmaler Luzin, Feldberger Haussee, Dreetzsee, Dolgener See, and Krüselinsee. On the shores, you will often find small villages, most of which have preserved their original structure and have developed into holiday resorts with gentle tourism, away from the hustle and bustle.
Visit Carwitz, the home of Hans Fallada, with its museum, small shops, and charming cafés in the courtyards. A region for nature lovers seeking peace, vastness, and relaxation.
A variety of activities are available, whether cycling in the lowlands or water sports on the countless lakes, horseback riding on sunny country paths—there is something for everyone. Or perhaps simply hiking on lonely trails or in nature reserves with a refreshing swim in the lake.
Visit, for example, our Heilige Hallen near Lüttenhagen. Germany’s oldest beech forest with some giant trees over 300 years old. An arboretum paradise garden, an educational trail, and a small exhibition in the Lütt Holthus Forest Museum round off the program.
Or the Müritz National Park Serrahn section, the entrance is just around the corner, in Zinow. Nine hiking tours with lengths from 4 to 9.5 km, some of which can be combined, mostly run on unpaved forest paths, partly on trails, and only rarely along roads with traffic. Wonderfully untouched nature. But culture is not neglected in the Feldberg Lake District either. Many readings take place here, in churches, manor houses, and also open-air concerts are held. For example, the concert series "Steg in Flammen" in Feldberg, right on Lake Haussee, with changing artists, is very popular.
Or the live music in the Alte Scheune and in the beer garden in Carwitz. Our arts and crafts market in Thomsdorf is also a popular destination, where artists from our region regularly offer their products. From ceramics to paintings and even textiles made of wool, you will find a variety of beautiful things here.

In the immediate vicinity you will find several lakes, e.g. the Rödliner See (sunbathing lawn, children's bathing area, with jetty), Wanzkaer See (sunbathing lawn, children's bathing area, with jetty), Waldsee Thurow (sandy beach with jetty), Grünower See, Blankenseer See and also the Thurower See. In our village there is a nice playground with children's play equipment, a soccer field and a basketball hoop. In Blankensee there is also a volleyball court. The Feldberg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern—here, the name says it all. Lonely paths, many clear lakes, and ancient forests promise pure relaxation. Excursion destinations:
