Our house is an old farmhouse, presumably built around 1880. It is located 400m away from the nearest road in an open field, only with one more property together. The access is via a country road which is not a thoroughfare. Apart from the occasional barking of dogs, the crowing of a rooster, the singing of sparrows, blackbirds, tits, and swallows, or an evening frog concert, it is quite quiet on the farm.
The egg farm itself is about 13,000m² in size. The large courtyard of the holiday home, with an area of about 2000m², is mostly covered with lawn, with plenty of space to spread out. The house includes a large terrace of more than 24m², where you have more than enough space to relax, recharge, but also for a lovely barbecue evening. In the courtyard, there is a small vegetable garden, a greenhouse, various shrubs, and some old fruit trees. As soon as the fruits and vegetables are ripe, you are welcome to help yourself to your heart's content. Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants, apples, pears, and plums ensure that there is always something delicious to be found on the farm for an extended period.
The farm is not fenced in. However, since there is only one neighboring property next to the house and otherwise agricultural land, this is not a problem. On the contrary, it is not uncommon for a deer or fox to wander into the garden, who use the bushes as natural protection in the winter. We also have a free parking space for your car, of course. There is a storage room available for luggage or bicycles in the courtyard.
