Dune crossing to the beach. Even on summer days, there is plenty of room for everyone

You can regularly see these fishing boats sailing close to the beach

In winter with snow, the island is like a painting

Wonderful bike rides on the many cycle paths through the beautiful nature

Beautiful horseback rides through woods and dunes and, of course, on the beach

You can watch the sun disappear into the North Sea every evening

With luck, you will see the kestrel perched on a pole on the lookout

And of course in the evening have some dinner or a drink by the setting sun

Description

The apartment is located in the middle of the extended island, close to the 'Landerumer Eendenkooi'. In the evenings, you can see the light of the 'Brandaris' lighthouse. The apartment includes a large garden where you can always find a quiet spot. Children can play wonderfully on the large lawn. A supermarket and a bicycle rental are within walking distance.

The simply furnished apartment has a living room with an open kitchen. On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a washbasin. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet

Due to the steep stairs to the bedrooms, the apartment is not so suitable for guests with walking problems.

Outside in the shared large garden on the north side is a beautiful terrace with furniture.

Location and surroundings of object

Terschelling is the third Frisian Island of the Netherlands from the west. The island is bordered by the North Sea to the north and the Wadden Sea to the south. To the southwest of Terschelling is Vlieland and to the east Ameland. Throughout the year, many tourists come to the island for wonderful bike rides and walks along the beach and through the dunes. Besides its special nature, Terschelling also has great attractions to offer, such as the harbor of West-Terschelling, built in the only bay in the Netherlands, and the Brandaris, the lighthouse that has stood as a symbol of the island for more than 400 years towering above the rooftops.
The island consists of six villages: West-Terschelling, Midsland, Hoorn, Formerum, Lies, and Oosterend. Many events take place on Terschelling: the annual Oerol Festival in June, the Brandaris Race (a sailing race from Harlingen), the "Berenloop" Marathon, the Terschelling Film Days, and a lifeboat day.

Landerum:
On Terschelling, with fewer than 100 inhabitants, lies the village of Landerum. Along the main road, there is a series of farms and houses. Originally, Landerum is an agricultural village focused on livestock breeding. Currently, there are still 2 dairy farmers in Landerum. Most of the farms have been converted and prepared for renting apartments to tourists. In Landerum, there is a car repair shop and a riding horse rental.

In case of cancellation, you will be charged a fee of: - For cancellations more than three months before the start date, 15% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within three to two months before the start date, 50% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within two to one month before the start date, 75% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within one month before the start date, 90% of the agreed price; - For cancellations on the day of the start date, 100% of the agreed price.

After booking, we ask you to pay 50% of the total amount within 2 weeks, and the remaining balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings within 6 weeks prior to arrival, we expect payment of the full amount within 3 days.

You will pay a deposit of €100.00. This will be refunded to your account within 2 business days after departure.
