Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. The cozy living room has a comfortable sofa, a TV, and a dining area.

Terschelling
Terschelling is the third West Frisian Island of the Netherlands, counting from the west. The island is bordered to the north by the North Sea and to the south by the Wadden Sea. Vlieland lies to the southwest of Terschelling, and Ameland to the east. Throughout the year, many tourists come to the island for splendid bike rides and walks along the beach and through the dunes. Besides its special nature, Terschelling also has great attractions to offer such as the harbor of West-Terschelling, built in the only bay of the Netherlands, and the Brandaris, the lighthouse that has risen as a symbol of the island for more than 400 years above the rooftops.
The island has six villages: West-Terschelling, Midsland, Hoorn, Formerum, Lies, and Oosterend. Many events take place on Terschelling: the annual Oerol Festival in June, the Brandaris Race (a sailing race from Harlingen), the "Berenloop" Marathon, the Terschelling Film Days, and a Lifeboat Day.
Formerum:
Formerum is a village on the Frisian Wadden Sea island of Terschelling, between Landerum and Lies. The village has an open structure of scattered farmhouses, some of which are among the oldest farms on Terschelling. Formerum has a supermarket, two restaurants, and a pub. Additionally, there is a cranberry factory that produces the tastiest cranberry products. Characteristic of the village's appearance is the coffee mill. The old mill of Formerum, dating from the sixteenth century, was demolished in 1888. The current mill is in good condition but has not been used for grinding grain since 1964. Nowadays, there is a nice café inside the mill. South of Formerum lies the Formerumer Polder. The polder consists of meadows and pastures and is rich in breeding birds, including the lapwing, snipe, redshank, oystercatcher, yellow wagtail, and skylark. The 'Formerumer Eendenkooi' is also located in the Formerumer Polder. This cage is privately owned, but active trapping is no longer conducted there.
The Formerumer Wheel on the dike is a relic from the time of a dike breach. North of Formerum is the 'Formerumerbos', a mixed forest in the dunes that was planted by the Forestry Commission between 1920 and 1930.
The area to the north and east of the forest is the nature reserve 'Koegelwieck'.

Here is the translation to English: We are members of Recron and apply the Recron terms and conditions. In case of cancellation, you will be charged a fee of: - For cancellations more than three months before the start date, 15% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within three to two months before the start date, 50% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within two to one month before the start date, 75% of the agreed price; - For cancellations within one month before the start date, 90% of the agreed price; - For cancellations on the day of the start date, 100% of the agreed price.

Information about the prices and the crossing can be obtained from Rederij Doeksen by phone at +31 (0)88-9000888 or at rederij-doeksen.nl/de. If you want to drive to the island with your car, early reservation is required, without a car reservation is recommended.
After booking, we ask you to pay 50% of the total amount within 2 weeks, the remaining amount must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings within 6 weeks before arrival, we expect full payment within 3 days.
You will pay a deposit of €100.00. This will be refunded to your account within 2 business days after departure.
