Description

The holiday apartment Lachmöwe by DeJu is a cozy, ground floor 2-room apartment with a terrace in the Meeresloft House. The apartment was fully renovated in mid-2024. The Meeresloft House is a KFW 100 energy efficiency house. As such, the apartment includes features like triple-glazed windows, a controlled ventilation system, external electric blackout shutters, and ultra-efficient lighting fixtures in the ceiling spots. The apartment is located on the side of Kirchstraße that faces away from the street ("courtyard side"). Kirchstraße itself is characterized by a quiet, yet very central location. The West Beach is about 240 meters away, and the spa square with the adjacent bathhouse can be reached in about 350 meters.

The facilities can be described as follows:

All rooms are equipped with high-quality designer flooring in a wood look and ceiling spots. The bedroom features a box spring bed sized 1.60 m x 2.00 m and two wardrobes. From the bed, you can comfortably watch the flat-screen TV on the opposite wall. The floor-to-ceiling window can be fully opened and leads to the terrace.

The living room is the focal point of the apartment. It can be divided into a living, dining, and kitchen area. Just like in the bedroom, the floor-to-ceiling window can be fully opened, allowing access to the terrace from here as well.
The sofa bed can be pulled out "forward," creating a lying surface of 1.40 m x 2.00 m, which can thus be used as a sleeping option for two people. The 43-inch QLED large Smart TV including Sonos soundbar invites you to linger. Also available is a Playstation 4 with various games. The dining area comprises a round table with a diameter of 105 cm and four chairs.

The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils such as an induction hob, refrigerator including freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, extractor hood, kettle, electric hand blender, toaster, automatic coffee machine, oven, etc. Appliances by Siemens.

The bathroom, with its walk-in shower, was furnished with items from Keuco. The high-quality wall mirror can be illuminated (and dimmed). The private terrace that belongs to the apartment is equipped with a table with four chairs and two deck chairs, all made of teak and with cushions. The cushions can easily be stored in the Biohort box. A clothes rack is also available here.

The non-smoking apartment is about 41 square meters in size. It can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and up to 2 children.

For our little guests, a travel cot including mattress, a high chair, and toys are available. Bedding, children's dishes, and various games, books, and painting supplies available.

The house has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. This is accessible to all holiday guests and is operated with coins.

We like pets. However, out of consideration for our guests with allergies, we cannot allow accommodation. We ask for your understanding.

Cancellation terms:

The tenant may cancel the rental agreement before the rental period begins by providing written notice to the landlord. Cancellation fees will be charged according to legal regulations. According to current legal practice, the compensation for cancellation in the case of vacation apartments/homes is 100% of the contractually agreed price. It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance! It protects the tenant in the event of cancellation due to death, serious accident or sudden illness of the tenant or his/her immediate family members from the costs of cancellation. If the booked period is entirely re-rented under the same conditions, only an administration fee of 50.00 EUR will be charged. If the booked period is only partially re-rented or at worse conditions, then in addition to the aforementioned administration fee, the difference between the original rent and the partial rent must also be paid.

Great apartment

We felt very comfortable in the Laughing Gull. It is well-maintained, very beautiful, and truly lovingly furnished. Thank God there’s no Ikea charm. For families with children, there’s even a Playstation. A plus for us was also the small terrace, which we could use even in March. A slight downside is that the microwave is mounted a bit high. The apartment is very centrally located; the bus stop towards the ferry is nearby, and you can reach the beach in three minutes.

recommend for: seniors, holiday with children, holiday without car, cultural and sightseeing holiday, beach holiday
