Discover the comfort and tranquillity of Ferienhaus bij Meer and Amsterdam, located in picturesque Heiloo. This holiday home offers a spacious living area of 140 square metres, with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, perfect for up to 5 guests. Welcome to our loving home in Heiloo. Within cycling distance of Egmond aan Zee and only 30 minutes by train to downtown Amsterdam. Something for everyone.
Start your day with a cup of freshly ground coffee in our fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Play games at the large dining table or barbecue in our backyard. The living kitchen has French doors to the backyard. The backyard is still under construction but offers plenty of greenery and space to eat in or for small children to mud and play with water. We also have a men's bike, a women's bike, a children's bike and an electric cargo bike by arrangement.
Relax in the living room with comfortable furniture, surrounded by vibrant houseplants that contribute to the soothing atmosphere. Watch your favourite programmes on the TV or enjoy the warmth of the fireplace on colder evenings.
The master bedroom has an extra-large and long bed, equipped with soft and comfortable bedding. The children's room has a cot and an extra camp bed for a baby is available. There is an additional bedroom with a sofa bed that folds out for 1 or 2 people. If desired, an extra large mattress can also be put in the children's room for an extra adult. A washing machine and dryer are at your disposal in the attic, as well as an ironing board and iron. There is a dresser with storage space for clothes and a hairdryer.
Our bathroom is modest and not mum's finest, but clean and fully equipped: a bathtub, a shower, a toilet and a sink with a large mirror with cupboard space. Towels are provided.
Outside, you can enjoy the fresh air in our beautiful green front garden, or take a bike ride with the bikes we provide for you. For those travelling with an electric car, a charger is available in the street. We have a cosy street with several playgrounds around and lovely neighbours.
The house is smoke-free and offers a low allergen environment, making it ideal for guests with sensitivities. We are on holiday from the end of July to 20 August, our house available that entire period. During our absence, two Heiloose friends are available for information or interim cleaning if required. Please contact us for more information.

Location and surroundings of object
Heiloo is a charming village in North Holland, known for its green parks and forests. Heiloo is next to Egmond aan Zee, a distance that is great for cycling. Do you like the dunes and the sea? Heiloo also has a train station, a 5-minute walk from our house. The train takes you in 5 minutes to Alkmaar (with its cheese market) or in 30 minutes to downtown Amsterdam. So you can go in all directions from Heiloo.
After getting acquainted, we would love to make you an information brochure with all kinds of fun things to do in and around Heiloo. Because there are so many activities; from a day at the beach, art markets, museums, shopping and culinary things to do in the region.

By the sea and to the train
We were two (both 61). My partner is Dutch, which sometimes simplifies things. She said it is typically Dutch, we felt very comfortable. Also suitable for children (we did not use this room). Would love to come again!

Absolutely recommended
Even before our arrival, we had very pleasant contact with the landlords, so all open questions could be clarified, and nothing stood in the way of a great vacation! The landlords provided us with a great information folder with fantastic excursion destinations and insider addresses as promised! This way, we didn't have to search for a long time for things to do and had great information from "first-hand"! The reception and departure were very pleasant and straightforward! The house also had everything it needed, from the fridge/freezer combo to a great gas stove, as well as a washing machine and dryer, which made the vacation with two children incredibly easier! The location is great for day trips, such as to Amsterdam (by train), as the train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and it’s also convenient for beach vacations (great beaches are accessible within 10 to 25 minutes by car).
All in all, it was a wonderful vacation over seven days that unfortunately passed by all too quickly! Thank you very much!

Fantastic place!
What a wonderful holiday we had in Heiloo! The house is located in a quiet residential area. The kitchen has everything you need, including the nice large dining table. The bathroom is basic but fine. Supermarket nearby and plenty of playgrounds in the area to take a break (with a toddler and preschooler). Or go to the beach (and the dunes!) with a nice bike ride along the meadows. Alkmaar is also easily accessible and well worth a visit. In short, highly recommended!
