The two bedrooms offer a total of four sleeping places. The sofa bed in the living room provides space for two more people, and there is also a child's cot available.
The large, furnished terrace with barbecue facilities invites you to relax and feel comfortable.
Our garden, approximately 2000 sqm, is perfect for children to play and dogs to run around. 600 sqm, with old fruit trees, is available for your exclusive use and invites you to relax, romp, or snack on fruit and berries, depending on availability. From the garden, you also have direct access (lockable) to the Krassach, a small crystal-clear stream that flows through our village and whose source is located in Bärental.
In the garden shed, there is a non-lockable space available for bicycles, etc. In the apartment, there is a folder with many useful information and tips. Why settle for less?
During the house renovation, energy efficiency, sustainability, and gentle treatment of nature were very important to us. In addition to a pellet heating system with solar support, as well as complete thermal insulation and insulated glazing, a ventilation system with heat recovery also helps ensure that no unnecessary energy is consumed. Of course, we also use 100% renewable energy.
In the outdoor facilities, we have tried to give nature its space, seal as little area as possible, preserve old tree stocks, and provide insects with a habitat by creating flowering areas.

Location and surroundings of object
Krassach, a district of Weismain, is a small, quiet village with no through traffic in the "Franconian Switzerland - Franconian Jura" nature park and is located at the entrance to the wild and romantic Bärental valley with its two mills. Beautiful hiking trails can be explored from the house, including shady ones suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The popular and very beautiful "Frankenweg" hiking trail is in the immediate vicinity. The Niesten castle ruins, the Kordigast with its fabulous "Spielwienix" playground or Weismain, with its unique water playground and historic old town, with the NordJURA museum, or, or, or, ...... you will certainly not be bored with us. The cycle path is right nearby. You can be in Lichtenfels, Bad Staffelstein, Coburg, Kronach, Kulmbach, Bayreuth or the world heritage city of Bamberg in a maximum of 45 minutes by car. In addition, the holiday flat is located in the Upper Franconia gourmet region and therefore offers everything you need to spend a relaxing and unforgettable holiday here.

Peace, comfort, and pure country living
If you are in the mood for peace and comfort in a beautiful rural setting, if you truly love the countryside, then you are in the right place in the "Landlust" holiday apartment of the Andres family.
We are repeat visitors and really enjoy our time in Krassach and the surrounding areas. We consider the hospitality and warmth of the two hosts to be exceptional and can highly recommend this house. If you didn't know that the house has been rented out for several years, you could think that we are the first tenants, that's how well-maintained the house is! We will definitely not be here for the last time.
