EXCLUSIVE HOLIDAY FLAT WITH FANTASTIC LAKE VIEW, LARGE TERRACE, 100M TO THE BEACH, WITH BUOY, JETTY
This flat is located on the ground floor of a 2 family house. The upper flat is not rented out, but lived in by us, the owners, when we are at the lake.
The house is surrounded by a large garden with many palm trees, plants and trees, it was completed at the beginning of 2024 and the flat was designed with great attention to detail, high quality furnishings and maximum privacy. The car park is right outside the front door.

There is a large living/dining room with TV and designer wood-burning stove and an open-plan island kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired. As well as an induction hob with an automatic extractor fan, it also has a dishwasher and a washer-dryer.
There is a guest WC and a bathroom with bidet and WC - the shower is huge....
The 2 bedrooms each have a dressing room and super comfortable beds. One bedroom has a view of the lake and air conditioning - the other faces the rear and has a TV.
The covered terrace is 40 square metres and has a dining table, an outdoor couch and a hammock for relaxing. The view over the lake is more beautiful than any TV programme.
The house is set back, above the lakeside road, approx. 1 km behind the Swiss border
The beach/lake can be reached in less than 2 minutes through a tunnel or via the road.
There is a large jetty and you have the opportunity to lie on the beach, go swimming or paddle with the Sup.....
A buoy can be hired if required.
In less than 5 minutes by car you can reach the centre of Cannobio (approx. 5000 inhabitants), a lively little town and one of the most important tourist centres on the lake. The picturesque town has very ancient origins and its history is reflected in the "palazzi" from different eras. The beautiful lakeside promenade with the old harbour and its many shops, restaurants, cafés and bars invites you to linger and relax.
At the Lido, the large public lido in Cannobio, water sports enthusiasts get their money's worth and can hire a wide range of water sports equipment: Surfboards, motorboats, pedalos, etc. Cannobio also offers other sports facilities: Sports field with athletics track, sailing club, tennis courts, boccia courts, clay target shooting, minigolf, swimming pool, children's play park, etc.

Great accommodation, but....
The apartment is very tasteful and top-notch in terms of amenities and cleanliness. The location is very nice and comfortable with direct parking in front of the house. The landlady is very friendly and helpful with very good tips. We found the utility bill with 75 cents per kWh for electricity and 1.85 euros per m³ for gas to be very high, as the average price (Italy) for electricity is 35 cents per kWh and for gas is 1.30 euros per m³. We could not verify the gas consumption on the bill, as there was no access to the gas meter. The house is a two-family house. We only rented one apartment.

Super relaxed vacation at the lake.
We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful vacation apartment. The apartment is well-equipped, and from the large terrace, there is a great view of the lake, which is only separated by the road. There is an underpass there that leads directly to the lake. This allowed us to easily reach the lake with our SUPs. The landlords gave us many great excursion tips. Cannobio is a very beautiful small town with a lovely promenade and many restaurants and great excursion opportunities around it.

Dream vacation
It was a dream week. Weather 1A. The landlords are super nice and always available for tips and services. The apartment is a complete dream. Unfortunately, we were only there for 1 week. We felt very comfortable and lacked nothing. As Lago newcomers, we immediately became Lago lovers. This was especially due to the accommodation/location and the nice and friendly landlords. Clear 5 stars. We will come back. DT and Paul.
