Description
Our small holiday home Am Wacholderbusch five is located about 200 steps from the Haddorfer Seen bathing lake. The 62 square metre house with carport, conservatory and large terrace is situated on a 500 square metre plot.
You enter the house through the conservatory. This has a sofa bed from the 1950s, a large dining table, chairs with armrests (to make it easier to stand up) and a Buddenbrooks stove for wood or briquettes. From here you have a direct view of the fully fenced garden with terrace, sunbathing and badminton lawn and the small orchard with apples, raspberry bushes and pears.
A sliding door with one step takes you into the kitchen/living area of the house. A kitchenette with dishwasher, extractor fan and 5-burner gas hob allows you to cook properly. A mini oven for baking bread rolls and a fridge-freezer with fridge on top (!) complete the kitchen area. A dining table with chairs can be used for meals if you don't want to sit on the terrace or in the conservatory.
In the living area there is a sofa, table and armchair from the 1930s with lion's feet. Extremely stable and tip-proof, you can safely support yourself here. A large television hangs on the wall for the evening hours and the gas fireplace provides cosy warmth in colder times. A large chandelier, which can be switched to two levels, can brightly illuminate the living area.
Another sliding door leads to the sleeping and dressing area. The extra-high beds make it easy to get up. An air purifier filters dust and pollen from the air on request. Another television allows you to watch TV from bed. The dressing room has a wardrobe with shelves and rods, a "dumb waiter" and a mirrored chest of drawers. To the side of the wardrobe is a small medicine cabinet.
The bathroom has a standard Ideal washbasin from 1957, a WC and a large walk-in shower. It can be ventilated via a window. A towel warmer, hairdryer and vanity mirror complete the bathroom. The toilet is also slightly raised, which makes it more comfortable for senior citizens. If desired, the bathroom can be fitted with grab rails. They are located in the utility room by the shower stool.
The utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, cleaning utensils, the cordless hoover and a clothes horse.
There is a small hut on the terrace (not accessible) for the barbecue and cooking utensils for outside. There is a simple charcoal barbecue and a small oven for cooking soup. The table and chairs can be shaded with the two awnings. In the evening, these can be illuminated by remote control.

Bei späterer Anreise oder früherer Abreise des Mieters und/oder der ihn begleitenden Personen hat der Vermieter Anspruch auf das volle vereinbarte Entgelt.

Yes, sorry for the picture. That was shortly after a Ringtaxi ride at the Nürburgring. I didn't have another one of a suitable size that wasn't already very old. I prefer to take my own photos of everything that creeps and flies in the wild nature around the little house on Haddorfer See. I love old cars, old furniture, creativity, dogs, cats, mice and life itself. Therefore: live and let live.
