Description

Experience an unforgettable holiday in our holiday home, idyllically situated in Lissendorf, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, one of the most beautiful areas of Germany. This bright and spacious house offers approx. 145 square metres of living space for up to 9 guests and has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, large living and dining room, conservatory and garden with barbecue facilities for cosy get-togethers, cellar with washing machine, tumble dryer and small freezer.
There is a large garage with parking for 2-3 cars. Motorbikes and bicycles can also be parked in the garage.
You can prepare delicious meals in the lovingly equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. Towels and bed linen are provided. We have provided a cot for our youngest guests.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and a hairdryer is provided in every bathroom. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the house.
The house impresses with its cosy interior with high-quality furnishings, paired with modern comfort. Large windows provide plenty of natural light.

Whether you are planning an active holiday or just want to relax, Haus Ewen is the perfect starting point for many excursions and tours, e.g:
The blue eyes of the Eifel: The maars of the Vulkaneifel, Phantasialand Brühl, wonderful (motorbike) tours along the Ahr and Moselle, by train (rail replacement service) to Cologne or Trier, cycle tours (Kyllradweg). You will find plenty of further destinations and information material in the house.

The house is located in the small Eifel village of Lissendorf, surrounded by beautiful nature in the heart of the Vulkaneifel. Discover the most beautiful sides of the Eifel from here. Here you can relax or be active - whatever you feel like. You can go on short hikes right on the doorstep, e.g. to the Möschelberg (nature reserve) with its special flora of limestone meadows and a wonderful view, to the Burgberg, also with a fantastic view - and much more.

Tolle Unterkunft für 8 Personen

Ein tolles Haus mit allem, was gebraucht wird.
8 Personen finden in den 4 Zimmern gut Platz, das 5. Zimmer mit dem Schrankbett ist ein Durchgangszimmer, für das anwesende Kind passte es gut.

Everything is fine.

We had a lovely holiday week at the Ewen house. It is located in a good area. It is very well equipped and you feel very comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided, which we thought was really great! There is a bakery right nearby. Mrs. Ewen was always easily reachable and nice when needed. We gladly recommend the house!

Family vacation with children and grandchildren

We really enjoyed the family vacation at the Ewen house. Above all, the winter garden is very beautiful. The house is very well equipped. We had everything we needed for a vacation. We took a trip to the eagle and wolf park in Kasselburg. There was a medieval market taking place. It was very nice. Additionally, there are some lakes nearby. At Kronenburger Lake, you can even swim in nice weather. We only took a walk there, as we didn't have swimming weather.

We had a wonderful vacation.
The house is unbeatable, it is perfectly equipped, nothing is missing at all. Very clean and everything is super organized by the landlord.
Many thanks to the very nice and helpful landlord.
We enjoyed the generosity of the beautiful house, the very nice large winter garden, the terrace in the garden, etc. The location is also very beautiful, wonderful nature, ideal for hiking and a good starting point to the towns of Gerolstein, Hillesheim, or Stadtkyll. We will book the house again when we are on vacation nearby.

Beautiful house in the Eifel

This house is great for 8 people. The 5th bedroom is a passage room in the attic with an open staircase down and a single fold-out bed. We didn't need it, so everything was great for us. The kitchen is well-equipped, and Mrs. Ewen was reachable via WhatsApp or phone at any time. For our experience weekend with tours at Erwin's brewery and the Gröner cheese dairy, as well as the gin tasting at Blum, this was the perfect location. Thank you!

Super equipment, great location, plenty of space

We really enjoyed our stay in the large holiday home. The location offers many possibilities, especially in good weather. Swimming at the Kronenburger Lake and Freilinger Lake was the highlight for the children. Many beautiful playgrounds nearby make it easy to keep the kids entertained. Barefoot paths and lovely walks are possible everywhere. The house is hard to beat in terms of space and amenities. A little disturbed us the rock garden, which is rather unsuitable for children.
Mrs. Ewen explained everything very well and was very friendly.
That there is a great bakery in the immediate vicinity is great.
Overall, it was a nice time for three generations.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Haus Ewen is zeer ruim, met veel licht en comfortabel. De keuken is buitengewoon goed uitgerust. Kookpotten, bestek, glazen, borden, enz zijn zeer rijkelijk aanwezig. ook alle mogelijke andere materialen zijn beschikbaar, van plakband tot schoensmeer:).
Het huis is rustig, mooi en goed gelegen, tegenover een klein spoorwegmuseum. Directe uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen. Lissendorf is een leuk dorp. Kruidenier, bakker en beenhouwer op minder dan 200m. Alles voor een fijne vakantie was aanwezig.
Frau Ewen was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Warm aan te bevelen!

Pleasant little house in a quiet location

Ms. Ewan warmly welcomed us and took the time to explain everything and show us the house. The house has everything you need. Unlike some other accommodations, the beds are very good. Overall, we had a very nice time. I would like to add that the bakery is 150m away, so you always have fresh pastries for breakfast. There is a garage available, but also a larger parking space in front of the house. We would also like to thank Ms. Ewan.

Large comfortable house, beautiful surroundings

We stayed with several families with children in the house. There is more than enough space, with a very nice conservatory. We had a great stay, with personal and friendly contact with the owner. And from here we could go in all directions and do all sorts of activities (swimming in a lake, visiting villages and towns, going to a waterfall). Definitely a recommendation!

Top-furnished large house in a great location

The house is top equipped with everything you need. It is super clean and comfortably furnished. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space in the living room and winter garden, so that all seven of us could sit together comfortably. We had a great long weekend and will definitely come back.
Tip: the area is great for hiking and the Eifelsteig is not far away.

Our beautiful, spacious and bright holiday home (our parents' house) in the beautiful Eifel near Gerolstein/Daun/Stadtkyll is suitable for motorcyclists/cyclists, hikers and families and offers plenty of space for up to 9 people. The property (parents' house) is furnished to a high standard and with loving attention to detail, completely furnished to a high standard with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a beautiful conservatory, a large garden area and cellar rooms. Bed linen and towels are provided. In the basement there is a washing machine and tumble dryer and a small freezer Large garage and parking spaces for up to 3 cars available. Motorbikes and bicycles can also be parked in the garage. There is also a barbecue facility.
