Quiet apartment with a beautiful view of the mountains, meadows and forests
The Alpine-style holiday flat is located in an apartment building with 8 residential units, is approx. 55 m² in size and suitable for 2-3 people.
It particularly impresses with its spacious south-east-facing balcony and the large panoramic window in the living room with an unobstructed view of the Hochgrat and the surrounding mountain landscape as well as the quiet location (no street noise). When you open the window, you can hear the pleasant murmur of the small mountain stream and breathe in the fresh Alpine air. In summer, there is a small dining table and 2 comfortable armchairs on the balcony,
The new kitchen is of high quality and fully equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hob with Bora extractor fan, oven, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother and filter coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, hand blender with whisk, extensive cooking accessories such as pans, pots, plates, beautiful crockery, cutlery, glasses etc..
There is also a small coffee bar with 2 bar stools. You can make yourself a delicious coffee there.
The kitchen, small bathroom with shower, living and dining area with cable flat-screen TV (41") and a sofa bed (sleeping area 180 x 200 cm) are located on the lower level. The cosy bedroom with box-spring bed can be reached from the living room via a wooden staircase with railings.
The flat also has a car parking space, a lockable cellar room and a small ski storage room or bicycle room.
There is a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer in an outbuilding.
Unfortunately we cannot allow pets.
Please note that our flat is a non-smoking flat, but smoking is permitted on the balcony.
The final cleaning costs are a one-off charge of € 75.00.
The tourist tax is not included in the price and is based on the tourist tax statutes of the municipality of Markt Oberstaufen (from 01.12.2022 = € 3.50 / adult per day)
Laundry set: bed linen, towel set, tea towel, etc. 15,00 € / person. From 5 nights free of charge.
Refundable deposit: 150,00 €.

Enjoy the picturesque mountain landscape in Oberstaufen-Steibis, Germany.
Thanks to its location on the outskirts of the village, many things are within walking distance:
A mountain cheese dairy with all dairy products from happy alpine cows.
A very well-stocked village shop, including fresh baked goods and sausages from the region.

The spa administration / tourist information centre.
A bus stop (journeys to the Imbergbahn or SkiArena Steibis, Hochgratbahn, Oberstaufen, Immenstadt) can be reached in approx. 5 minutes or 200 m from the holiday apartment.
In spring, summer and autumn, the region in and around Oberstaufen is transformed into a picture-book landscape. 250 km of hiking trails invite you to enjoy the wonderful and impressive panoramic views. The hiking trail can start right on your doorstep.
Hiking is possible at different levels of difficulty - beautiful hiking trails in the valley with quiet and dreamy corners, in the middle heights and in the mountains for experienced mountain hikers.
The Hochgratbahn (4.5 km from the flat) and the Imbergbahn (2 km from the flat) can also be reached by bus in a few minutes and take you up to the heights all year round.

We bought the flat in 2017 and have gradually renovated it. The flat impresses above all with its quiet location (no street noise) and the large panoramic window, from which you have a wonderful view of the Hochgrat, the green meadows and the surrounding mountain landscape. The spacious balcony is well protected by the canopy, so you can sit outside and enjoy the sun even in cooler temperatures. In summer, when the sun is high, you are not so exposed to the hot temperatures and the flat stays cool.
