Location and accommodation O.K. Cleanliness and hygiene very dirty, the bathrooms or toilets with urine stains on the floor, mirrors with dirt spots, kitchen cutlery, pots not washed, stove was not usable. QR code should hang at the entrance, but that was not the case. Terrace with tripping hazards, as tiles at the edge were uneven.

It was a great base to explore the Berchtesgaden region. The apartment was clean and had a charming rustic style. Just a few minutes' walk to some nice cafés and the stunning lake – we couldn't have been better located!

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we made good use of the washing machine. It felt like a home away from home.

A beautiful and incredibly spacious house with deferred maintenance. It was clean, except the kitchen was sticky and the extractor hood was extremely dirty, which prevented me from cooking. The terrace needed a refresh. The grass was very high but was mowed towards the end of our vacation. This was unfortunate because we have children who love to play outside. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings, as they are truly beautiful.

The holiday apartment is in a very good location. From here, you can reach all spots in just a few minutes by car or on foot. There is also a bus stop very close by. Mobility is ensured. BUT: The cleanliness in the apartment leaves much to be desired. Dust bunnies in every corner. Cobwebs in the corners. Dishes and cabinets dirty. The couch and dining area are stained. The entire apartment smelled musty. The furniture is old, which I don't mind. However, what bothered me is that it is worn and partially broken. The mattresses and blankets were very uncomfortable. A partial renewal of the furnishings should be considered by the landlord. However, the worst for me/us was the clogged kitchen drain upon arrival. The sink was full of food scraps. It looked like vomit and smelled just as bad. The landlords themselves were not present. Ms. Gerner sent her cleaning lady over to clean. As soon as she left the house, everything came back up again. Only after a lot of pressure was an emergency service ordered by Ms. Gerner to resolve the issue. Overall, the apartment has potential, but we felt very uncomfortable and would therefore not recommend it.

The hosts were incredibly hospitable, which made our experience even better. We loved the proximity to Eagle's Nest and the beautiful hikes in the area. The apartment itself was well-furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

When we arrived, all the rooms were very cold, and after several phone calls with the owner, it only became warm the next day. So we used the fireplace to have warmth in the evenings/nights. The two bedrooms were also cold at night in the following days. Some lights in the living area were not functional, and there was no ceiling light in the dining area, only a standing or reading lamp. Since we were guests with six people, the non-pull-out sofa had to be used. A sofa bed is something different in my understanding. The bed mattresses were also not good, as they were already very worn out. The kitchen was functional and good. The bathroom with the tub is the highlight of the accommodation.
