In one of the most spectacular areas in Germany, surrounded by 2700-metre high mountains and crystal clear mountain lakes, the village Schönau am Königssee lies nestled in the Berchtesgaden National Park. This nature park is the only Alpine nature reserve and recognised by UNESCO as a special protection area for wildlife such as the ibex or eagle as well as native plants such as the Edelweiss. Towering above everything is the steep mountain ridge of the Watzmann, which is covered with snow for most of the year and offers beautiful hiking opportunities. You can ride the 'Jennerbahn' (cable car) to high altitudes and hike through the alpine landscape. These spacious and comfortably furnished flats are situated at the edge of Schönau. If you're looking for a cosy accommodation in a fantastic location, then Schönau am Königssee is the right place for you!

The environment was great the apartment rather not. Disappointing for the money. Clammy hair in the shower linens. Garbage under the beds.

The location is central Schönau, the resort is on foot or by car or bus to reach all good what you take as beautiful memories m ཬ hte.

We enjoyed going to Eagle's Nest on the last day of our stay. Even though it was mid-September, the first 2 days were cold and wet, with snow on the mountains. On the first wet day, we went to the Salt Mine, which was great to do as it was inside, especially as it had 2 'slides' which our teenage children enjoyed. On our final day, we went up to Eagle's Nest, which was wonderful with blue sky and sunshine and snow on the ground- the views of the snow-capped mountains were spectacular, and we could see Salzburg and its fortress easily; our 13 yo son also enjoyed making a snowman!

Beautiful region, a must for iedereen.wat is definitely worth the hike to the waterfall Königssee ... heavy for the kids but the area is a delight to the eye.

When the noise of the cars had not been, it would be a great apartment. She is very pretty and has a beautiful view of the mountains. For people who sleep at geschlössenem window it is suitable. The lady of the keys was very friendly and gave advice on the use of the guest card. The apartment itself was well appointed and very clean. So far the cleanest we had ever experienced in a vacation home.

Beautiful surroundings, anywhere reasonably close to beautiful hiking that the garden is adjacent apartment was marble everywhere and down the stairs too and it is on a fairly busy street, so for kids it is careful that they do not rennenook the weeds was the street in the garden very high so they could not really play buitenwas been more convenient if they were not families with children in an upstairs apartment deden.appartement more neat and clean, very noisy especially if you're in the middle of the night you attend quarrel. a couple above you

Am Felsennest house is divided into several apartments. In the part where we were with 4 people. The room was somewhat cramped given the number of persons and somewhat dated. There was no microwave and dishwasher, something quite common nowadays anyway. Shower was lovely however and the balcony. Downstairs does seem better because there is a garden at. The beds were fine. The area is fantastic and there are many excursions in the area for nature lovers who enjoy hiking or beautiful scenery keeps. But also for culture lovers, who can gain your heart's content the history of the 2nd World War to the Eagle's Nest and the Obersalzberg. The house is situated in a quiet area further, and catering is not really within walking distance, this is bike, bus or car anyway needed.

We were completely satisfied. However, sometimes there are no neighbors to the other residents denke.Da is grilled directly under the balcony. Or the family with many children rages until the early night in the garden and yard.

We spent our summer vacation in the house Felsennest. The owner was very friendly and accommodating (excluding telephone contact). The apartment, however, corresponded in terms of the state / hygiene, not at all our expectations.
