Welcome to the Brigitte holiday home in Bockhorn/Steinhausen.

We rent out our holiday home in the small village of Steinhausen, in the municipality of Bockhorn near the North Sea resort of Dangast.
The holiday home is a non-smoking house and is intended for 2 - 4 persons (on request also up to 6 persons).
The holiday home is completely at your disposal.
The rooms are spread over 2 floors.
The kitchen with kitchenette is on the ground floor.
This is fully equipped with dishwasher plus tabs, coffee machine,
Microwave, oven etc.
There is an oversized colouring board for children (and adults too, of course),
where creative painters can leave their pictures.
This colouring board is located at the front of the kitchen.
The living room and bedroom are also on the ground floor,
the passage room to the outside
covered conservatory, the bathroom and a storage room.
Upstairs is the 2nd bedroom and a leisure room with books, games and a
12-in-1 table football table.
There is also a cosy armchair for reading under the bright skylight.
Outside, we have a secluded garden with a fixed terrace and a beach chair.
Here you can spend relaxing hours.
And should it rain, the covered terrace with extendable windbreak offers space for everyone.
There is space for cars and bicycles under the carport and in the garage.

From our holiday home you can easily explore the whole area by bike or on foot.
The roads and paths are easy to cycle on except for a few small inclines, such as motorway overpasses or dykes. We recommend that you bring your own bikes. A ladies' and a men's bicycle are available free of charge in the holiday home itself.
The spa town of Dangast, with its two beaches, is only a short cycle ride away, depending on your speed,
20 to 30 minutes by bike, depending on your speed, over paved paths through endless fields.
By car it is about 10-15 minutes to Dangast or Varel. Wilhelmshaven with its beautiful south beach can also be reached quickly. The eight North Sea islands from Borkum to Wangerooge with their ferry ports are between 45 minutes and an hour's drive from our holiday home and are perfect for a day trip. Bremen (approx. 60 minutes) and Oldenburg (approx. 30 minutes) can also be easily reached by car and are ideal for a leisurely city trip.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in 26345 Bockhorn, Steinhausen district.
This is in southern Friesland, not far from Wilhelmshaven, Varel or the North Sea resort of Dangast.
It is easy to reach by car.
Take the A 29 motorway from Oldenburg to exit 8 Varel/Bockhorn.
From the motorway, turn right for approx. 0.3 km and then right again onto Wilhelmshavener Str.
Follow this road until you see the signs for Bockhorn/Steinhausen,
Turn left here, drive straight ahead for approx. 0.5 km and then turn diagonally right into Hohle Str.
The holiday home is then on the left-hand side with the house number 4.

The holiday home = "Love at first sight"
We spent 10 beautiful, relaxing days in this quietly located holiday home. Arrived and immediately "fell in love." It is very lovingly furnished, very clean, and nothing is missing. We were also very pleased with the "welcome gifts." A beautiful garden, sun loungers, covered seating area, etc. Everything matches the description. Everything is available that the heart desires. Brigitte and Edgar are very nice landlords. We felt very comfortable with you and would love to come back ;)

Upon arrival, you immediately feel like you're on vacation. Very well-kept garden. The holiday home is decorated with a lot of love, nothing is lacking. Very quiet location to relax from everyday stress. The welcome gifts were a surprise. There is also a lot of variety for children, foosball table, games, etc., so you can save a suitcase full of toys.

Great vacation home in a fantastic location at an affordable price!
A great holiday home from A to Z. Even the contact with the Meiners family was very pleasant.
The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area and is equipped with everything you need.
It has been lovingly furnished by the landlord. We were especially pleased with the little gifts upon arrival. There was even a treat for our dog. The house is very clean.
It is very centrally located for excursions. Many destinations can be reached quickly by car.
We can recommend this holiday home without reservation.

We are Brigitte and Edgar Meiners and were born on the coast. We currently live in beautiful Mülheim an der Ruhr in the Ruhr region. However, in the next few years we will be moving back to beautiful and tranquil Steinhausen. Until then, we will be making our house available to holiday guests, so that people from elsewhere can also get to know this beautiful corner of Germany.
