Location and surroundings of object
The Zlatko house by the sea in Vinjerac can be quickly reached via the new inland motorway.
The small, original fishing village is located directly by the sea, exceptionally idyllic and geographically very favorably situated at the southern end of the Velebit Channel.
The bathing beach with beach bar can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
The original, quiet fishing village in Vinjerac is ideal for letting your soul unwind. It offers healthy vacation days due to its Mediterranean climate, its crystal-clear water, and a mix of healthy mountain and sea air. The place is very peaceful. The hidden bathing bays (untouched by nature) are very clean, the water crystal clear, the beach sand/pebble with beach bars.
In the town there are some recommendable restaurants with Dalmatian specialties, cafés with ice cream sales, all of which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. On weekends during the high season, music events occasionally take place.
There is a small grocery store for daily needs directly at the harbor.
During the season, fruit, vegetables, and homemade local products such as olive oil, jams, and liqueurs are offered at market stalls.
Zadar is located about 30 km northeast of Vinjerac. Within a radius of 100 kilometers, day trips can be taken to Nin, Pag, the Plitvice Lakes with its countless waterfalls, Krka Waterfalls, Kornati, Sibenik, Trogir, Primosten, Split, Paklenica National Park, the 8 km long Zrmanja Canal following in the footsteps of Winnetou.

One does not need more for a perfect vacation.
For the 4th time this year, we spent our summer vacation with Monika & Zlatko in Vinjerac. Already in the first days of our first stay, it was clear to us - we have not been here for the last time. You arrive and feel at home. Nothing is missing to spend a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
2 comfortably furnished holiday apartments, where nothing is lacking. A beautifully maintained property with a breathtaking view of the idyllic Vinjerac, the blue sea, and the mountains of the Velebit range. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The water is crystal clear and offers the best conditions for swimming and snorkeling. The place is the ideal starting point to visit many top attractions within a maximum. 90 minutes by car to reach - Plitvice Lakes, Krka Waterfalls, Velebit Mountains with Paklenica National Park and Tulove Grede, Zrmanja Canyon, Pag Island, the old towns of Zadar and Šibenik, to name just a few examples. Particularly noteworthy are the two hosts Monika and Zlatko, who, through their hospitality and loving nature with many valuable and always new tips, contribute to a wonderful time spent with them. And so we will travel again next year to Monika and Zlatko in Vinjerac. We are already looking forward to it!

A great vacation
We can only recommend the accommodation. We met very nice landlords who were happy to help with tips for exploring the country. The view is wonderful and the mountain region is good for hiking. Those who prefer swimming have wonderful water within walking distance. City tours to Zadar, Sibenik, etc. are also easily accessible by car from here.

Vacation par excellence
An unforgettable vacation in the beautiful Vinjerac (North Dalmatia).
The hosts were simply great! Not only did you receive helpful tips, but you also felt right away as if you "belonged to the family." M. and Z. are very warm-hearted and attentive people who love to share their large and lovingly designed property with their guests. The holiday home, with a charming view of the city center as well as the impressive Velebit mountain range, is only a few minutes away from the private natural beach. Here, not only the cool water but also the dreamy natural landscape can be enjoyed in peace. Small tip: Definitely bring water shoes, snorkel, and diving goggles, the water is crystal clear and offers a diverse underwater world.
The holiday apartments are very clean and well-maintained and offer a high standard. If you want to shop extensively, I recommend strolling through the beautiful streets of the historic city of Zadar, which is 30 km away (easily accessible by highway). A little tip: Here you can fill your belly with all sorts of delicacies! The large market in Benkovac is definitely worth a visit! Not only can you find very fresh food (directly from the producer), but also all sorts of useful items and art objects can be purchased here. If you're in the mood for a bit more action, I recommend visiting the nearby Cerovačke caves. A full 700 meters of this unique underground world can be extensively explored on a 1.5-hour tour (per cave). A little tip: dress very warmly, as it is 5-8 degrees in the caves! The Velebit mountain range invites extensive (or short, depending on fitness level) hiking or biking tours. All in all, a great break that I can warmly recommend to everyone! A big and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts!

We had a great vacation with Monika and Zlatko. The house and the apartment leave nothing to be desired, very cozy and fully equipped (we didn't need a TV). The entire property is very well maintained and breathtakingly beautiful (a lot of love and work has gone into it). We can only say very, very loving and warm-hearted people about Monika and Zlatko, whom we have taken to our hearts. The outdoor shower is the highlight. One receives good and sensible advice for ventures.
We hope that in 2017 it will work again for us to spend our vacation here.

Unbeatable
We are now regular guests and it was again a wonderful vacation this year in a top-equipped holiday apartment. The hosts always give you the good feeling that you are welcome and are always helpful advisors, for example when it comes to planning excursions or restaurant recommendations. Our children (10 + 14 years) were also able to fully unfold and had fun snorkeling and swimming (in the sea just minutes away). We are already looking forward to the next vacation at House Zlatko.
