Description

Discover the beauty of North Holland and enjoy a wonderful holiday in our guesthouse Het Eiland in Warmenhuizen. This charming cottage accommodates 2 guests in 70 square metres of living space. On the ground floor the living room/kitchen and a fully equipped bathroom with washing machine. Furthermore, 2 bedrooms. Our guests can choose to sleep in the larger bedroom upstairs or the smaller bedroom on the ground floor.

Our guest house has all the modern conveniences you need for a comfortable stay. It has a private parking space and a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings with lots of privacy and views of the garden.... The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and crockery. There is an induction hob on which you can prepare meals.

The house is also equipped with a washing machine, hairdryer and a TV. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth in the colder months.

Long-term rentals are possible and the house is only available for non-smokers. It is also a low-allergen environment, ideal for people with allergies.

Our guest house is surrounded by a beautiful country garden and adjacent meadow and unobstructed views. The interior is tastefully decorated with furniture, comfortable sofa and lighting. The windows let in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful views of the green surroundings.

Relax on the terrace surrounded by trees and plants, take walks or cycle trips in the nearby surroundings (polders, forests and beaches). Our street is located on a cycle junction. The guest house is also close to the town of Alkmaar (including the Cheese Market), Schagen (West Frisian Folklore Market and parade in summer). Amsterdam and Haarlem are easily accessible by public transport within 1 hour. A day trip to the Wadden Island Texel is also very well possible. In short, it is an ideal location for nature and city explorers.

Location and surroundings of object

Our guest house is detached overlooking the front garden and adjacent meadow on the outskirts of the village of Warmenhuizen. Warmenhuizen is located between Alkmaar and Schagen and behind the dunes, beaches and woods of Schoorl. The beaches are easily accessible by bicycle and car.

The guest house is surrounded by a lot of privacy. Our street is located on a cycle junction route. From Warmenhuizen you can easily visit Amsterdam and Haarlem within 1 hour, either by public transport or not. The nearest bus station is 400 metres away. The bus takes you to Alkmaar in about 15 minutes. A day trip to the Wadden Island Texel is also very well possible. The centre of Warmenhuizen is 1 km away and has several shops for daily shopping. Warmenhuizen also has a delicatessen, a shoe shop, a clothes shop and a bicycle shop. Every Friday there is a fresh market at the end of our street (vegetables, cheese, nuts, fish and bread). Furthermore, Warmenhuizen has a wide choice of restaurants, also in the vicinity.

Great holiday home ....

We were in this holiday home in September 2024. The description on the website matched exactly what we encountered. Very clean, fully equipped, and absolutely quiet. The ideal holiday accommodation for 2 people who enjoy cycling and love nature. From our perspective, we can recommend this accommodation.

Hello, my name is Rob Frishert. Together with my wife, I have lived in a beautiful farmhouse in a rural area in North Holland, close to woods and beach, for almost 19 years. We have two cats and chickens. We like to travel for holidays at home and abroad. We have converted our former barn/horse stable into a cosy and spacious guest house with lots of privacy.
