Description

The Moby Dick is a privately owned holiday home for six people. It was completely newly built in 2023 and, with the energy label A++++, meets the latest standards in terms of energy supply. it will be rented out for the first time from March 2024.

The house is located at the end of a dead-end path making it very quiet. From the house, a nice walk through the forest takes you to the beach. By bike, you can reach the beach within 10 minutes.
The house is close to Ecomare between de Koog and den Burg, making it an ideal holiday location in the middle of the island against the North Sea coast.

On the first floor are 2 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a double bed with a separate room that can be used as a dressing room and can accommodate a cot. The other bedroom has two single beds.

On the ground floor is a third bedroom with a double bed and an additional bathroom.
The very spacious living room and kitchen with loft make a lovely place to come home to. The attractive modern furnishings with a touch of retro make everyone feel right at home. You are guaranteed a wonderful holiday in the Moby Dick.

Arrive and feel at home

We have already spent our third vacation in Moby Dick and were once again completely happy this time. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished, each room is of high quality and exceptionally clean. The hosts and our contact person for the rental, Juliet, are so friendly! We will definitely come back!

A great holiday home.

Both the furnishings and the equipment were rich and high-quality. We felt at home this week. An ideal house for families with children. In our opinion, the quality justifies the price, but it could be too expensive for families with children. We would love to come back!

A dream

A very tastefully and elegantly furnished holiday home that we can only highly recommend. Great kitchen equipment, nothing is really missing. Very comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, and plenty of light-filled space. Very quiet location, and in just a few minutes you can reach the beach or De Koog by bike. We would love to come back!

Nice house

This house is a house to return to! It is spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated. Nice kitchen with good inventory for cooking delicious meals. Bedrooms with good beds, reading lamps, and screens for the windows. Well-maintained bathrooms with nice showers. The garden is well-kept, and there is a lovely terrace with evening sun. The house is located in a quiet spot in the park. Pleasant contact with the owners. We enjoyed it!

Luxury, clean, and stylishly furnished home

A large, luxurious, and clean holiday home equipped with all conveniences. Cozy decor with a comfortable couch and a cheerful round dining table. The property is situated quietly with a large garden, where it is lovely to relax. Beautiful garden furniture is available. Enjoy breakfast outside in the sun at the dining table under the canopy in the morning, and in the afternoon, comfortably lounge in the sunbeds. There is plenty to do in the area: a day at the beach, cycling through the dunes, a day trip by boat to Vlieland, shopping in Den Burg, too much to mention. A week was far too short. We will definitely come back. Until next year!

Greatly enjoyed!

Despite the weather, we really enjoyed the new "Moby Dick." A beautiful house with a cozy decor. Comfortable seating on the spacious couch or chairs, a lovely round dining table, good beds, 2 bathrooms with rain showers. The luxurious kitchen, equipped with all conveniences, was a pleasure to cook in. There is more than enough cutlery, dishes, pans, glasses, etc., available. A fantastic stay on the island!

If you are looking for accommodation with all conveniences such as a luxury oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, TV, radio, luxury shower room, plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, then MobyDick is the right place for you. The distance to the beach is about 5-10 minutes by bike. There are also plenty of opportunities nearby for a nice lunch or dinner.

Do you find it annoying to carry things from the car to the accommodation? At MobyDick, there is parking for 2 cars right at the door.

In short: highly recommended for a fantastic stay on the island.

Nice, comfortable with plenty of space and privacy.

During our recent vacation, we chose to stay in the bungalow Moby Dick, and I must say it was a fantastic choice. Located in a quiet private setting, the bungalow offered a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.

The bungalow itself was spacious and well-furnished, with modern amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The living room was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture, and on a sunny day, the beautiful, easy-to-use large sliding door created a fantastic connection between indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, which was convenient for a few relaxing evenings 'at home.' The outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy yourself on a sunny summer evening and morning, is a great plus.

The bungalow is completely surrounded by a tree belt, perfect for an afternoon of relaxing in the sun with plenty of privacy.

All in all, our stay in bungalow Moby Dick was an unforgettable experience. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable vacation in nature close to the beach and forest.
