Les Ayguades is a small "holiday exclave" by the sea in the town of Gruissan, which in turn is close to the venerable episcopal city of Narbonne and the administrative centre of Carcassonne with its world-famous medieval Cité, which is located in the Département of Aude. Larger cities such as Toulouse and Montpellier can be reached from here in just over an hour. The beautiful city of Perpignan is only around 60 kilometres away from here. The mighty Pyrenees rise up in the south. Spain can be reached from here in just over an hour.

Great little vacation cottage
We (2 adults + 2 children + 2 dogs) felt very comfortable in the beautiful holiday home. Everything you need is there, everything is clean and well maintained. The location is great, you can reach the beach in a few minutes, it is very spacious and the area at the lagoon is a dream for dogs, they can run and splash around here. There are very nice places to visit in the area. It's a few minutes walk to 2 small shops, one for beach supplies, souvenirs, swimwear, etc., and in the other you can get a small selection of drinks and groceries, there are crepes and we always got bread rolls/croissants/baguette there in the mornings. By car, you can quickly reach Gruissan, the small town is definitely worth a visit, and there are supermarkets there for bigger shopping trips. We ate at the restaurant Le Croq a few times - it's located across from the small shops - or went to the Le Crog Bar next door for a delicious cocktail, sometimes with live music. We really liked it, both the complex and the house. We can highly recommend it.

Wonderful

Beautiful holiday home
We (a family with two children aged 12 and 14) spent two wonderful weeks in this great holiday home. We have been to this resort six times and this was the best house we have been in so far. The house is perfectly equipped and has a great location. The house is very quiet, yet centrally located, just a few meters from the beach or the bakery. You can tell that the owner herself spends a lot of time in the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and also very spacious. The terrace is beautiful and sunny. It is also nicely planted and we spent a lot of time on this private terrace. A parking space is located right in front of the house. The contact with the landlady and also with the property manager was very nice and everything went smoothly. We have already booked again for next year and are looking forward to it. Our children were also very satisfied. The house has Wi-Fi and air conditioning. We are looking forward to next year. Thank you very much for the nice days! We would definitely recommend the house!
