Come to our 5-star Haus Strandläufer - part of our listed Föhrienhaus - and let us spoil you! Whether alone, as a couple or as a threesome, a holiday here is a pleasure, because you can unwind from the very first moment. We have taken care of the rest: the beds are freshly made, the house is kept at a pleasant temperature, cosy towels and bathrobes are laid out, soap, shampoo and toilet paper are provided for the start and, last but not least, a welcome drink with a surprise after the long journey is provided.
But it's not just our service that will delight you, the harmoniously furnished house itself leaves nothing to be desired: in addition to a large living room with fireplace and library as well as an adjoining terrace with garden, you have an open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar, modern and fully equipped. Of course, this house also has sophisticated technology: a Smart TV (OLED) in HD+ quality, a BOSE surround system and free internet access.
The two bedrooms are on the first floor, in the upper daylight bathroom you will find a comfortable corner bathtub, while the daylight bathroom on the ground floor has a large rain shower. Here, too, you have your own free parking space with a wallbox right outside the front door as well as a charging station for your e-bike.

Location and surroundings of object
Midlum is, as the name suggests, in the centre of the island. We made a conscious decision in favour of this location at the time, as it guarantees complete tranquillity and a fusion with nature. Guests looking for a break from the daily hustle and bustle are in good hands here. Of course, despite its location on the edge of the village, the house is embedded in the surrounding infrastructure, which can be reached quickly, whether on foot, by bike or by car. Are you looking for relaxation, culture and good food on holiday? No problem, Midlum offers everything: for relaxation, the wide marsh is right on your doorstep for long walks (with your dog), for culture, the Museum Kunst der Westküste (Art of the West Coast Museum) in the next village offers changing exhibitions and for good food, there is a Frisian restaurant in the village with delicious dishes.
In the neighbourhood there are only privately used or rented detached and semi-detached houses with a view into their gardens, our long driveway shields the house from the noise of the marsh, no foreign cars, bicycles or pedestrians have access here.

For more than 25 years we have been renting out our three holiday homes, Wattwurm, Möwennest and Strandläufer. These are embedded in a listed Frisian house, which we affectionately call our "Föhrienhaus". As we didn't want to manage our houses from an agency or from afar, we moved to Föhr a long time ago to be the direct contact for our guests, because their satisfaction is the most important thing to us. Not only the large number of regular guests, but also the award from the German Tourism Association (DTV) with 5 stars for the sixth time in a row, prove that we made the right decision at the time, which benefits you today. We are happy to leave our houses behind their historical facades to nice guests who appreciate the special and want to experience an extraordinary holiday here.
