Our holiday flat "Waterkant" is located on the edge of the lively village of Gelting in the district of Wackerballig in the beautiful fishing region. The holiday flat has been tastefully and invitingly furnished with a lot of love and offers space for 6 people on approx. 90 square metres. The size of the property is 600 square metres. There is a car park for your car on the property itself.
Sunny hours can be spent relaxing on the comfortable seating set on the terrace or on the sun loungers in the garden. A charcoal barbecue is available for cosy barbecue evenings. There is also plenty of swimming fun. The nearest Baltic Sea beach is just 100 metres away and can be easily reached on foot. There is also a restaurant just a minute's walk from the house. The nearest supermarket & bakery is 2km away in Gelting.
Delicious meals and snacks can be prepared in the well-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen of the "Waterkant" holiday flat. After an eventful day between the Schlei and the Baltic Sea, two bedrooms on the first floor are available to our guests for a relaxing night's sleep.
The first room with a double bed, the second with a double bed and a bunk bed, which is also suitable for adults (140x200 downstairs, 90x200 upstairs).
For cycling enthusiasts travelling with an e-bike in their luggage, "Waterkant" offers a special extra: you can conveniently recharge your bike at the in-house e-charging station in a lockable shed so that you can set off on excursions with a fully charged battery.
With extensive fields, great cycling and walking paths and forests in the immediate vicinity, "Waterkant" is the ideal property for a well-deserved relaxing holiday.
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a shower and underfloor heating. The toilet is located in a separate bathroom with washbasin. A washing machine is also available. A flat-screen TV and free WiFi are available for your media entertainment.
Pets are not permitted in this holiday home. Baby equipment is available on request. The cosy outdoor sauna is a real highlight, especially in the colder months! Enjoy your holiday with us, whatever the season.

Wackerballig is a tranquil district of the air and Kneipp spa resort of Gelting and offers a beautiful Baltic Sea beach and a marina with restaurant and bistro, just 120 metres from the "Waterkant" holiday home.
Wackerballig is located in the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Angeln region. Its surroundings are characterised by the eastern hills and are ideal for long walks and bicycle tours. The Geltinger Birk is a beautiful nature reserve only 4 km away - go on bike tours, Nordic walking tours or an extensive hike of several hours around the Birk and observe the numerous bird species, Scottish Highland cattle - with luck you can spot the Konik wild horses.
