Description

St. Jodok am Brenner is located at the foot of the Schmirn and Vals valleys at 1130 m above sea level. The 75 m² apartment is on the sunny side of the valley and offers the guest a wonderful panoramic view over the whole valley. The landscape is uniquely beautiful and almost unchanged. Ancient customs and mountain farming are at home here. Many farms have been owned by the same families for centuries. Far away from the daily routine you will find relaxation and recreation during hikes or mountain tours. It offers you the possibility to start easy to moderately difficult mountain tours directly in front of our house.
A via ferrata was built by our mountain rescue service in the summer of 2012. It offers climbing enthusiasts another highlight to discover nature and the unique Tyrolean mountains without having to travel long distances.
For motorcycle enthusiasts, St. Jodok is also an ideal starting point to undertake tours to South Tyrol, etc

The 75 m² apartment is fully equipped and offers for 2-6 people fully equipped kitchen and the 3 bedrooms are separated from each other. Bathroom and WC are also separate. We are easy to reach by public transport or car/motorbike. From the capital Innsbruck we are about 30 km in southern direction and only 10 min. away from the Brenner Pass.

Location and surroundings of object

Our apartment belongs to the community Schmirn. Approx. 5 min. walk from the house, is the train station St. Jodok. You can reach us toll-free via the B 182 from Innsbruck/Süd. You pass the villages Stefansbrücke, Matrei and Steinach
If you use the Brenner motorway A 13, drive to
EXIT 19 (exit "Matrei/ Steinach", toll: EURO 8,50 ) and then turn right onto the B 182. Follow the B 182 through Steinach am Brenner and after about 4 km you will reach the turn-off to Sankt Jodok, opposite the Discont petrol station

The small village of St. Jodok lies 1130 m above sea level and is served by 3 municipalities. Steinach, Vals and Ort offers an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours, climbing, motorbike tours, ski tours, cross-country skiing ,ice skating and fun tobogganing. For refreshment after the excursions you will find a grocery store and the village butcher's shop (with own slaughtering, sausage and bacon products). Directly next to the church is a bank with ATM.

Large well-kept holiday flat with very good price-performance ratio

The flat corresponds exactly to the property description. The Gollner family is very friendly and helpful and gives tips for current events and activities. We felt comfortable and would spend our holiday there again.

Great, very spacious vacation apartment!

It was a very large, well-divided apartment. The landlord was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. There was a triple room, a double room, and also a single room. There was one toilet and a large bathroom with a shower. There was no living room, but there was a good eat-in kitchen with a corner bench and a TV. The kitchen had a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a kettle, a stove, an oven, and a fridge with a freezer. The vacation rental was in top condition, clean, and well-maintained. Underfloor heating was available in the hallway. I recommend the vacation rental and would spend my vacation there again.
