The location is great and above all very quiet and relaxing. You look directly onto the bird sanctuary from the terrace. We have spent very nice hours here. The location is also a good starting point for bike tours. We can recommend the tours to the Hamburger Hallig or to Nordstrand. We really liked the facilities. All technology is up to date and we didn't miss anything. The furnishings are high quality and tastefully done. The terrace also includes a table and seating for 4 people. We can recommend this apartment 100% and would love to come back.

The apartment Arlau Schleuse is located, so to speak, on the levee. It can get very windy, but you have an unparalleled view in every direction from all the windows. Through the terrace, you are immediately and without detours on the levee and in the protected area. The location of the apartment is probably unique. In good weather, of course, pedestrians walk directly past the terrace. However, one has to carry the luggage from the street up a staircase and two floors to the apartment. Here you live in a perfectly equipped apartment. Nothing is missing. The apartment is newly furnished, and therefore the kitchen equipment is completely new. However, there are no operating instructions for the appliances, so one must, for example, turn to Google for help in starting the sauna. Within sight is the Hotel Arlau Schleuse with the Deichgraf restaurant, which comes highly recommended, especially as it is within walking distance. It is recommended to bring a flashlight; there is no street lighting. Overall, this is a beautiful and extraordinary apartment due to its location. It remains to be seen how the situation will be when the second planned apartment is completed, with which you will have to "share" the terrace.

Top vacation rental (5 stars) with a breathtaking view of the incredible nature. The office was always accessible, the staff very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back! The only criticism is the rattling and annoying creaking plexiglass partition on the terrace when the wind blows. Especially at night! A solution, at least for the creaking, could be to place rubber strips under the screw points (on the building and the panel). But that's just a suggestion. Otherwise, no criticism at all and the secluded location is amazing!

Those seeking peace will find it here. The accommodation is wonderfully rural. The facilities were great, the sauna a dream. Those looking for deceleration will find it here. The only downside might be the thin walls to the adjacent apartment. However, I would definitely recommend this apartment!

If you want to escape from everyday life, this is the perfect place for you. The holiday home and the area promise peace and tranquility. Everywhere you look there is open space, sheep, cows, and grass. There are plenty of signposted paths for bike rides. We had a quiet and relaxing time. Thank you.

The apartment is really great! The location is unbeatable, but you also feel immediately comfortable in the apartment. The beds and sofa are absolutely comfortable, and the sauna is a dream after an autumn walk, just like the view from every window. We only found it a bit unfortunate that there was relatively little crockery in the kitchen, no scale, and no blender. You can easily manage without them, but you would appreciate a few more plates and cups.

The holiday apartment makes a great impression as soon as you enter. Very clean and really well equipped; just as described. The only downside is that access to the apartment on the 2nd floor via a narrow staircase is not easy. Sure-footedness is required. It is a bit of a shame that the otherwise beautiful terrace has to be shared with the neighboring apartment. If you use the terrace exit to the dyke, you will inevitably disturb the neighbor's privacy somewhat. The property is absolutely recommended.

The only drawback might be the soundproofing to the adjacent apartment. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this apartment!

It's a bit of a shame that the otherwise beautiful terrace has to be shared with the neighboring apartment. If you use the terrace exit onto the dike, the neighbor's privacy will inevitably be slightly disturbed. The property is absolutely recommended.
