The North Sea spa resort of Nordstrand, situated in the middle of the fascinating Hallig world of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, is very well known for its healing and regenerating climate. The peninsula, which is about 50km² in size, is about 4km from the mainland and can be reached easily and at any time via a country road.
The healthy North Sea climate and the many leisure activities such as cycling, inline skating, mudflat walks, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, walking and jogging make the island a special kind of recreational experience for nature lovers and individualists.
In addition, the Adler shipping company offers you boat tours through the diverse island and Hallig world and to the well-known seal banks.
