A beautiful stay in a great location – with a few helpful tips
I would have liked to evaluate our stay in more detail, unfortunately only 2,000 characters are allowed, which is why I have to keep it brief.
I spent a nice week with my parents & dogs - we felt comfortable.
**Service:** Arrival and departure went smoothly. My small suggestions for improvement regarding the property were received kindly.
**House:** The four bedrooms were ideal so that everyone could sleep separately. They are functionally furnished but quite small. The mattress of the single bed is clearly sagging and should be replaced. Also, most bedroom doors are difficult to open and close. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room cozy, and the gas fireplace a nice extra.
**Bathroom:** Small, but with all the essentials. A step at the entrance and a threshold to the shower could be a challenge for guests with limited mobility or walkers. **Cleanliness:** The basic cleanliness was acceptable, however, there were visible cobwebs, initial signs of mold in the shower joints, and smegma traces from previous male dogs on the floor. More care in the final cleaning would be desirable here.
**Garden:** A real highlight – large & beautiful! Important for dog owners: It is not fenced, but only limited by planting & hedge trimming. Therefore, unsuitable for small escape artists.
**Location:** Dunes & beach are very close. During our stay, the road was closed due to construction work, which made it pleasantly quiet. I cannot assess how loud it is with normal traffic.
**Conclusion:** Overall, we had a nice week. With a bit more care regarding cleanliness, mattress & doors, the house could be even more convincing.

Ich haben eine schöne Woche mit meinen Eltern & Hunden verbracht - wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.
**Service:** An- & Abreise verliefen reibungslos. Meine kleinen Verbesserungsvorschläge zum Objekt wurden freundlich aufgenommen.
**Haus:** Die vier Schlafzimmer waren ideal, damit alle getrennt schlafen konnten. Sie sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber recht klein. Die Matratze des Einzelbettes ist deutlich durchgelegen & sollte ausgetauscht werden. Auch die meisten Schlafzimmertüren lassen sich nur schwer öffnen & schließen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer gemütlich & der Gaskamin ein schönes Extra.
**Bad:** Klein, aber mit allem Nötigen. Eine Stufe am Eingang & eine Schwelle zur Dusche könnten für Gäste mit eingeschränkter Mobilität oder Rollator eine Herausforderung sein.
**Sauberkeit:** Die Grundsauberkeit war in Ordnung, allerdings gab es sichtbare Spinnweben, erste Schimmelspuren in den Duschfugen & Smegma-Spuren früherer Rüden auf dem Boden. Hier wäre mehr Sorgfalt bei der Endreinigung wünschenswert.
**Garten:** Ein echtes Highlight – groß & schön! Wichtig für Hundebesitzer: Er ist nicht eingezäunt, sondern nur durch Bepflanzung & Heckenschnitt begrenzt. Für kleine Ausbrecherkönige daher ungeeignet.
**Lage:** Dünen & Strand sind ganz nah. Während unseres Aufenthalts war die Straße wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt, wodurch es angenehm ruhig war. Wie laut es bei normalem Verkehr ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen.
**Fazit:** Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Woche. Mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt bei Sauberkeit, Matratze & Türen könnte das Haus noch mehr überzeugen.
