Description
The holiday home is located in the Strandpark Scheldeveste directly behind the dike, about 100 m from the beach. Directly behind the dike, within walking distance (5 minutes), is also the ferry terminal (for people and bicycles) to Vlissingen. The house has a 600 sqm plot with a large fenced garden, ideal as a play area for children or for dogs to run.
In the park (about 30 m away) there is an indoor swimming pool, a sports hall, and a kiosk with a bar. A newly built playground is about 100 m away on a small island.
The interior of the holiday house was largely renovated between 2020 and 2025 (bathroom, toilet, kitchen, bedroom, floors, furnishings and appliances). The following is available: ironing board, iron, extractor hood, egg cooker, television (smart TV), induction stove, dishwasher, hand mixer, charcoal grill with grill utensils, 3 coffee machines (filter coffee, capsule machine, Senseo), high chair, microwave-oven combination, travel cot with mattress, 2 sun umbrellas, 3 sun loungers, sound tower (Bluetooth), vacuum cleaner, table with 6 chairs on small terrace, table seating set for 8 people, toaster, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric kettle. There are two designated parking spaces directly at the house. Additional parking spaces for park visitors are located about 30 m away in a large parking lot.

A warm welcome to Breskens, a harbor town in the west of Flanders, the province of Zeeland in the south of Holland! Breskens currently has about 4,500 inhabitants and is located directly at the mouth of the Westerschelde on the North Sea. Glorious air and pleasant tranquility invite you to relax. On the wide sandy beaches and long dikes, you can take beautiful walks on the beach or go on bike tours. Depending on your mood, you can stop at one of the lovely beach pavilions, which are lined up every 1-2 km along the beach behind the dike. In the town, you will find everything needed for daily life, as well as interesting shopping opportunities. The easily accessible, not far away towns of Sluis, Knokke-Heist, Aardenburg and Huest as well as Vlissingen or Terneuzen on the other side of the Westerschelde also offer unlimited shopping pleasure.
You can reach Vlissingen by passenger ferry, which docks directly behind the dike. For families, there are many leisure activities, including horseback rides on the beach in Nieuwfliet or various swimming pools in the immediate vicinity. Many festivals and markets take place in Breskens throughout the year. Culinarily, Breskens is influenced above all by nearby Belgium. Everything is great.
The accommodation is well-maintained and equipped with standard household items. The kitchen along with utensils is very well-kept. The location of the house is optimal; you can quickly reach the beach and the center of Breskens on foot, making it easy to do daily shopping. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. We felt very comfortable during our week of vacation.

Dreamlike accommodation!
We were guests for a week with 2 kids and 2 dogs and had a wonderful time.
We all felt very comfortable, it was clean and totally cozy furnished.
The location is great, the contact friendly and uncomplicated.

Perfect accommodation
The house is up to a high standard. Everything is clean and works perfectly. Very positive is the proximity to the beach and for the children, the swimming pool is just a few steps away. The completely fenced garden provides security and the dog can play a bit.
We would love to come back. The booking was absolutely uncomplicated. Very nice contact. We would love to return.

We bought the holiday home in 2020 because we had spent lovely holidays there as tenants for many years and it was for sale. We didn't want to lose it as a holiday home. We then renovated the bathroom, guest toilet, floors on the upper floor, furniture, outdoor facilities and a few other things. Because we regularly spend our holidays there ourselves, we have designed the house the way we like it and are still working on making it even more beautiful. But of course you should like it just as much and that's why we are always grateful for tips on what we can do better and more beautifully. We are pleased when you rate our house. We hope that you feel as comfortable as we do. We speak German, English, French and some Dutch.
