Description
- The holiday home is located in the Scheldeveste beach park, which was built in 1998. It is located directly behind the dyke and therefore has a direct connection to the beaches and the sea. The ferry landing stage (passengers and bicycles) to Vlissingen is also within walking distance (5 minutes) directly behind the dyke.
There is an indoor swimming pool, a sports hall and a kiosk/bar in the centre of the park (approx. 30 m away). An adventure playground, situated on a small island, invites the little ones to romp around in the fresh air.
The park is criss-crossed by many ditches and offers plenty of green spaces with shady trees and bushes.
The interior of the holiday home was largely renovated in 2020 (bathroom, WC, floors on the upper floor, large parts of the furnishings and appliances).
The following appliances are available: Ironing board, iron, extractor bonnet, DVD player, egg cooker, TV (Smart TV), 4-burner gas hob, dishwasher, electric hand blender, 2 coffee machines (filter coffee, Senseo), high chair, microwave-oven combination, travel cot with mattress, sound tower (Blue tooth), hoover, toaster, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle.
There are two paved car parks directly at the house. Further parking spaces for park visitors are located approx. 30 m away in a large car park.

Welcome to Breskens, a harbour town in the west of Flanders, the province of Zeeland in the south of Holland! Breskens currently has around 4500 inhabitants and is located directly on the estuary of the Westerschelde on the North Sea.
Wonderful air and pleasant tranquillity invite you to relax. The wide sandy beaches and long dykes are perfect for walks along the beach or cycling tours. Depending on your mood, you can stop off at one of the beautiful beach pavilions, which are lined up along the beach behind the dyke at intervals of 1-2 kilometres. In the village you will find everything you need for everyday life as well as interesting shopping opportunities. The nearby towns of Sluis, Knokke-Heist, Aardenburg and Huest, as well as Vlissingen or Terneuzen on the other side of the Westerschelde, are also within easy reach and offer unlimited shopping pleasure.
Vlissingen can be reached by passenger ferry, which docks directly behind the dyke. There are many leisure activities for families, including beach rides in Nieuwfliet and various swimming pools in the immediate vicinity. Breskens organises many festivals and markets throughout the year. In culinary terms, Breskens is mainly characterised by nearby Belgium. Holiday home
We spent a week in their beautiful holiday house and everything was super good, nice decor, bathroom and toilet as good as new, beautiful enclosed garden very nice for our dogs, close to the beach, Breskens quickly accessible, so overall a relaxing lovely holiday and nice landlords, we would love to come back.

I want to come back; I really liked it a lot.
I have been here in Breskens several times, but I liked our current accommodation the best. I love the beach and the town of Breskens, and I would like to come back again next year. We took good care of the house and treated everything carefully.

Beautiful holiday home near the sea!
Wonderful holiday home near the sea, with a large garden (fenced), pet-friendly, great facilities, very clean, underfloor heating, comfortable beds, very nice and reliable contact with the landlord, overall really great!

We bought the holiday home in 2020 because we had spent lovely holidays there as tenants for many years and it was for sale. We didn't want to lose it as a holiday home. We then renovated the bathroom, guest toilet, floors on the upper floor, furniture, outdoor facilities and a few other things. Because we regularly spend our holidays there ourselves, we have designed the house the way we like it and are still working on making it even more beautiful. But of course you should like it just as much and that's why we are always grateful for tips on what we can do better and more beautifully. We are pleased when you rate our house. We hope that you feel as comfortable as we do. We speak German, English, French and some Dutch.
