Description
In the fall of 2024, the chalet was expanded to include an additional bedroom, an additional bathroom, a fireplace room, and a utility room. The already large terrace was also expanded, a second balcony was built on the bedroom floor, and the ground floor terrace was enlarged.
But the best features of Chalet Margarete were already present before the renovation.
A beautiful view over the mountains of the Allgäu and Bregenz Forests.
A perfect location (south-facing slope) at 950 meters above sea level. Good connections to hiking and skiing areas in the immediate vicinity.
Our holiday home (approx. 95 m2 living space, approx. 90 m2 terrace around the house), is equipped with everything you need for living - and more. Here is a brief summary of what you can expect at Chalet Margarete.

Location and surroundings of object
Whether you want to relax, hike or do sports: Vorarlberg offers a wide range of entertainment options - and you are right in the middle of it. In winter the skiing areas Bödele, Schetteregg, Didamskopf, Mellau/Damüls, Balderschwang and Warth/Schröcken attract you. In summer you can explore the surroundings on foot or by car. For the more adventurous there are paragliding and hang gliding opportunities. The Bregenzerwald and Montfort Rankweil golf courses are also just a few minutes' drive from Chalet Margarete. Lake Constance and the lakeside metropolis of Bregenz, with its lakeside stage and art house, also attract art and culture enthusiasts to the country time and again. The nearest place for shopping and first contact with the people of Vorarlberg is Egg. There and in the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants where you can indulge in the cuisine of Autrichienne
Directions:
For exact directions to Egg, please refer to the map attached. In Egg you drive in the direction of Schwarzenberg/Bödele, but only until you reach a power house about 200 m after the bridge over the Bregenzer Ach river. There you turn right and follow the sign of the Alpenrose inn up the hill. Drive to the Alpenrose, pick up your key and continue along the private road until you reach the first (and only) turn-off on the left. Take this and drive to the very back of the forest. There you will see your holiday home, which you can easily recognize from the photos. Parking is directly in front of the house

Your caretaker will visit you shortly after your arrival and explain the apartment and the surroundings.

| Included in the rental price are Bed linen and towels (The bed is waiting for you freshly made - quasi ready to cuddle) Table linen and tea towels (More space in the suitcase for clothes) Wood, electricity, water, heating, garbage - by and large all incidental expenses Cleaning utensils and washing up liquid Basic food and spices You have to pay the visitor's tax on the spot to our nice caretaker, in return you get a guest card in summer, with which you can use all buses, mountain railways and open-air swimming pools for free Prices Low season - € 200 per day - € 1350,- per week High season (15 December-15 January; 30 March - 31 September) - € 225 per day - € 1550,- per week For a two-week stay you get a 5% discount, for 3 weeks 10% For stays up to 4 days there is still a fee of € 50,- You want to come by? Then send us your registration. It becomes valid as soon as you have transferred a deposit of 25% of the rental price. The rest of the rent should be paid two weeks before the start of the rental period. A deposit of € 300,- is required for security. You will receive the money back after the handover. |
Cancellation terms:
In case of cancellation, the deposit remains with the landlord. If the remaining fee is not paid up to 4 weeks before the start of the trip, the booking is considered canceled.

Fantastic
The chalet is to be recommended all around: Fantastic location, very tastefully furnished, wonderful, large terrace, equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, .... You can feel that architects were at work here ?

A beautiful relaxing holiday
If you like mountains and don't want to sleep and shower in a cold hut, you have to come here. Underfloor heating in the sanitary rooms is simply something nice :)
recommend for: holiday with children, cultural and sightseeing holiday, skiing holiday, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: Die voralberger sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause aber halt wo anderes ;)
free time activities: Was man halt so in denn Bergen macht Skifahren, Wandern und dürch denn bodensee auch Baden usw.
