The listed house was originally built in Bullay in 1595 as a noble residence.
Olive Tree was restored and completely refurbished by May 2021.
The holiday home is characterised by a combination of modern furnishings and the historic style of the house. Among other historical building materials, a Cologne mirror-relief stucco ceiling decorates one of the bedrooms.

Ancient world heritage sites, imposing castles, exclusive culinary delights, historic wine villages and towns, Moselle cycle paths and, of course, a beautiful hiking region for relaxing walks to climbing the Calmontsteig, the steepest vineyard in Europe, await you here.
Bullay is a charming village on the Moselle, known for its winegrowing and picturesque landscapes.
In the old village centre of Bullay you will find more half-timbered buildings and several restaurants and Straußwirtschaften. The waterfront promenade is one of the longest on the Moselle at 1000 metres.
A small passenger ferry, as well as a bridge, connects Bullay with the village of Alf opposite.
Bullay is the ideal starting point for wonderful excursions and hikes in the beautiful Moselle valley as well as in the neighbouring Eifel or Hunsrück.
Due to the many Moselle loops with their steep vineyards, nature here is quite different from other sections of the Moselle.
The railway connection through the environmental railway station is also nice. For example, you can reach Trier in 40 minutes.

We love to combine historic houses with modern ambience and create a feel-good atmosphere. We have put a lot of thought into making sure our guests are happy whatever the weather. All houses offer a beautiful garden or courtyard for sunny days and cosy summer evenings. A Finnish sauna and a fireplace invite you to relax and ensure unforgettable evenings together.
