The holiday home is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Leimen in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest North Vosges.
In the immediate vicinity there is a beautiful viewpoint, the castle ruin Gräfenstein, the Clausensee, the MTB Park Trippstadt, the Wischertfels, and other noteworthy Buntsandstein rocks. The network of hiking and cycling trails leaves nothing to be desired; mountain bikers and climbers will get their money’s worth. In our holiday home we have extensive information material for excursions available for you; on request you are welcome to receive further tips.
A visit to the town of Wissembourg in Alsace (France) is highly recommended; enjoy French flair and the charming buildings from the 18th century over a cup of coffee in one of the many street cafés that invite you to linger.

As an official host of the Pfalzcard, you will receive this practical guest card directly upon arrival – at no extra charge, as it is included in the accommodation price. Look forward to free admission to castles, museums, swimming pools, as well as free travel on buses & trains throughout the entire region – organized by the Pfalzcard partners.
The whirlpool is available to you daily from April 18 to October 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Available free of charge until 00:00, and can optionally be booked in addition during the winter season from November 1st to April 17th by prior arrangement when booking your stay.
Our sauna in the basement can optionally be booked in addition for a fee during the winter season from November 1st to February 28th by prior arrangement when booking your stay, and offers both bio and Finnish modes of operation.
The garden of our holiday home is available to our guests for communal use. Charging of electric vehicles and the use of electric heating devices is not permitted, the outdoor and entrance areas are under video surveillance.

A real insider tip in the Palatinate Forest?
A real insider tip! We not only felt absolutely great here, but also saved a lot with the Pfalzcard – those who are clever make extensive use of it for free entries and rides. This makes vacation twice as fun! The accommodation itself is well-maintained, cozy, and the hosts know exactly how to put a smile on guests' faces. We will definitely come back – but shh… don’t tell anyone, otherwise everyone will want to go! ?

Highly recommended
We lived with our family with three children in the upper part of the house. Very clean, fully furnished. Cozy living room, nice kitchen, balcony for two to relax in the evening. The bedrooms are spacious, and the quality of the beds is good. The garden is beautiful!
In the area, we enjoyed lovely walks through the beautiful forests. There are streams everywhere where one can relax well (sometimes with a bit of searching). The contact with the landlord was fantastic: We received many nice excursion tips via WhatsApp. Mr. Kasper invited us to ask questions and was very patient with our sometimes incomprehensible Dutch German.
We had two wonderful weeks!
