The holiday home is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Leimen, a climatic health resort in the North Vosges Palatinate Forest UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
In the immediate vicinity is a beautiful vantage point, the Gräfenstein castle ruins, the Clausensee lake, the Trippstadt MTB Park, the Wischert rock, and other sandstone rocks worth seeing. The network of hiking and cycling trails leaves nothing to be desired, and mountain bikers and climbers get their money's worth. We have extensive information material for excursions ready for you in our holiday home, and we will be happy to provide you with further tips on request.
A visit to the small town of Wissenbourg in Alsace (France) is highly recommended, enjoy the French flair and the charming buildings from the 18th century with a cup of coffee in one of the many street cafés that invite you to linger.

The tenant may cancel the lease at any time. In the event of such cancellation, the landlord will claim compensation for loss according to the following scale: - For cancellation 89 to 60 days before the booked start of the stay, 30% of the rental price. - For cancellation 59 to 30 days before the booked start of the stay, 60% of the rental price. - For cancellation 29 to 14 days before the booked start of the stay, 90% of the rental price. - For cancellation 14 to 0 days before the booked start of the stay, 100% of the rental price. - In case of no-show, 100% of the rental price will be charged, this also applies in case of early departure. - We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance as a precaution. - The tenant has the right to suggest a replacement tenant. The replacement must be reasonable and financially sound for the landlord. They will enter the contract under the existing terms. Both the tenant and the replacement tenant are jointly and severally liable for the rent. The date of cancellation received by the landlord is decisive for calculating the compensation for loss.

For a short stay of up to 4 nights, we charge a short-stay surcharge of 89 euros, which is included in the price calculation. From a stay of 5 nights, the short-stay surcharge is waived.
The hot tub is available to you from April 18 to October 5 daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at no extra cost and can be optionally booked during the winter half-year (Oct. 6 - Apr. 17) after previous agreement when booking your stay. Our sauna in the basement can be optionally booked for the winter season (Nov. 1 - Feb. 28) by prior arrangement when booking your stay, offering both organic and Finnish modes of operation.
No deposit required, however, we may ask for proof of existing personal liability insurance on a case-by-case basis.
The garden of our holiday home is available for communal use by our guests. Charging electric vehicles and using electric heaters is not allowed. The outdoor area is under video surveillance.

Highly recommended
We lived with our family with three children in the upper part of the house. Very clean, fully furnished. Cozy living room, nice kitchen, balcony for two to relax in the evening. The bedrooms are spacious, and the quality of the beds is good. The garden is beautiful!
In the area, we enjoyed lovely walks through the beautiful forests. There are streams everywhere where one can relax well (sometimes with a bit of searching). The contact with the landlord was fantastic: We received many nice excursion tips via WhatsApp. Mr. Kasper invited us to ask questions and was very patient with our sometimes incomprehensible Dutch German.
We had two wonderful weeks!
