Welcome to this gem in Gottgöra, located just outside Rimbo in Norrtälje municipality. A very nice log cabin in a fantastic and calming environment where a feeling of calmness comes as soon as you take the first step onto the property. Cozy cottage and nice patios, lovely sun-heated outdoor shower in the garden where you can enjoy a shower to the birdsong! A perfect accommodation for those of you who value tranquility and closeness to nature but with proximity to golf, city life and much more! An inviting accommodation with a beautifully green garden where you can see that the owners have an extra love for beautiful plants. Welcoming terrace with outdoor furniture where pleasant dinners can be enjoyed. In the cabin, you are met by an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room, which connects to a large, calming bedroom with a double bed and good storage. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa bed for two and a TV with the Swedish basic channels. Exit to the back patio, which is partially covered, where you can enjoy a quiet moment in comfortable outdoor furniture. In the kitchen there is a nice dining table and the kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a stove, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and kettle. In a separate house a few meters from the cabin you will find a separate and a few more meters away is the solar-heated outdoor shower with shower walls and curtains, where you can stand and shower in privacy in the open air. Please note that the heat of the water can vary given that it is solar heated and thus dependent on the sun. The nice house owners live on the neighboring property. Just under a kilometer from the house is Lake Vängsjön, which has a nice swimming area about 4 km by car from the house, with a jetty and a sandy beach. Here there are changing rooms and a barbecue area, a perfect outing with the children. If you want to play golf, you will find Johannesbergs Golf about 5 km from the cottage, where you can also enjoy a good meal. Rimbo also has every other service you could possibly need. You can also rent a canoe there. This accommodation is perfect for those of you who want peace and quiet for recovery and have access to several excursion destinations both to Uppsala, Stockholm and also the Stockholm Archipelago. What a delightful escape! This cozy cabin in Rimbo was just what we needed for a weekend getaway, The outdoor shower was a unique touch, letting us enjoy nature while we refreshed, The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for local attractions, Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat!

We had a lovely time at this holiday home, It was super peaceful and just what we needed to escape the city, The cabin was clean and comfy, with a nice open layout that made it feel spacious, I really appreciated the outdoor shower, showering while listening to birds was such a vibe! The garden was beautiful, clearly taken care of with love, The location was perfect too, close enough to Rimbo for dining options but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of nature, Just a heads up, the WiFi was a bit slow at times, but honestly, we didn’t mind much, Would definitely come back for more relaxing weekends!

We had a nice time here, though we found the solar-heated shower a bit hit or miss, It was a fun experience, but I recommend making sure to shower during sunny hours! Overall, the cabin was clean and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for our day trips to Uppsala and Stockholm,
