Arrive, feel good, relax: Your holiday home is located in the seaside resort of Altefähr on the island of Rügen on the Baltic Sea and is only 350 metres from the sea with beach and harbour! The beautiful and authentic seaside resort of Altefähr, with its close proximity to Stralsund and good connections, is an ideal starting point for discovery tours on the island of Rügen and the Baltic Sea coast.

The house is equipped for up to 6 persons and 2 small children up to 4 years: Over 2 floors there are 3 cosy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the bright living area with fireplace and the great open kitchen. The house has underfloor heating, free high-speed WiFi, sun loungers, Weber barbecue, fire bowl, two Smart TVs, garden shed and much more...
The 3 bedrooms are equipped with box spring beds and there is a 2nd TV in the large bedroom. The bathroom on the ground floor has a spacious, floor-level rain shower, and in the upstairs bathroom you can relax in the bathtub. The great eat-in kitchen offers you plenty of space for family and friends and the kitchen is fully equipped.
There are a total of 3 parking spaces (2 directly at the house) and a private garden with a spacious terrace. with dining table for six people and a large parasol. The 3 sun loungers make you forget the world around you and the garden house can fit prams or bicycles. We have a great barbecue and fireplace and a covered little lounge for you!
We have paid special attention to families with children: 2 high chairs, 2 baby beds (60x120 cm), a changing table and a bed guard are available. The stairs on the upper floor are secured with a grille. We have set up a small play corner and toys can also be found in the house. Children are very welcome in our house!

Location and surroundings of object
The seaside resort of Altefähr is located right after you cross the Rügen Bridge, opposite the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, directly on the Strelasund. Not far from the harbour and beach is the "Sonnengarten" holiday park, where you will also find the Fräulein Meer holiday home. The location is quiet because the house is at the end of a private access road with no through traffic.
The seaside resort of Altefähr has a large sandy beach. This is supervised by the DLRG, so you don't have to worry about safety. There is a large playground for the children, should they ever get out of the water. A really great thing is the disabled access into the water via a ramp. The promenade is bordered by a wide wooden walkway and there are large wooden chairs on the beach. Many events also take place on the beach, such as the Herring Festival and the Summer Festival. In the evening, the skyline of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund opposite and the Rügen Bridge are bathed in a wonderful evening glow. A unique atmosphere!
Originally, Altefähr was the only connection from the mainland to the island of Rügen before there was a bridge. Therefore, Altefähr has a relatively large harbour and a direct ferry connection to Stralsund. This is a real highlight for our guests, as there is no more stress-free way to get to the heart of the old Hanseatic city. From Stralsund, trips are possible as far as Hiddensee. Sailors will find moorings in the harbour and boats are available for leisure captains and anglers from local boat rental companies. There are great gastronomic offers, from fish sandwiches to good steaks, and you will find the tourist information office at the harbour. Sail & Surf is one of the largest water sports centres on Rügen.
