This little jewel offers pure relaxation. It is your very own paradise for a relaxed and informal holiday in a stylish ambience. Your holiday home Sonnen-Zeit captivates with sun from rising to setting and through its own subtropical garden. The charming bungalow is individually designed and offers plenty of private space and comfort. Harmonious colours and different light sources create a pleasant environment on 100 sqm.
The chalet Sonnen-Zeit was generously renovated and enlarged inside in October 2022.
The living room has a large couch and a rocking chair. A large streamable flat screen TV offers all TV and radio stations and their Amazon prime or Netflix movies. The large window front bathes the living room in bright, warm sunlight all day.
Fully equipped new L-shaped kitchen with new electrical appliances such as ceramic hob, oven, and fridge-freezer, dishwasher. Of course, there are also small electrical appliances such as toaster, coffee maker, senseo maker, kettle, microwave, blender. Nothing is missing.
The dining room area offers space for 4 people and you have a sea view through the large window front.
The master bedroom offers a large double bed (1.80m x 2 m) and continuous mattress, bedside tables, large built-in wardrobe with safe and chest of drawers.
Another bedroom has a 1.50m bed, bedside table and chest of drawers with mirror, a large built-in wardrobe, this is located just outside the door in the hallway.
In a closet you will find an ironing board and iron, hoover, cleaning utensils and many other small electrical appliances, such as microwave, if you want to use them, just put them in the kitchen.
The new shower room with large rain shower. A washing machine and washstand with storage space complete the room. A window across the entire width makes the room bright as daylight.
There is also a separate WC with washbasin and a window.
The whole house has external blinds, which provide a nice cool indoor climate.
There are a total of 3 terraces at your disposal.
The 25m² north-west terrace is in front of the house, where you can also dry your clothes on the existing clotheslines.
The 22m² southwest terrace offers a wonderful view of the garden, the sea and the mountains. The electric awning provides shade. Due to the tourist-free location, you can sunbathe here undisturbed and enjoy the evenings under the breathtaking starry sky long after the romantic sunsets. This terrace is furnished with 4 sun loungers, 2 tables and a total of 6 chairs, there is also a large parasol. From here you can reach the garden via a staircase and the 3rd small terrace directly in the garden.
You can arrange the tables and parasol individually on the terraces, just as you like.
The complex includes a heated communal pool (10 x 18 m) surrounded by palm trees. The free sunbeds invite you to relax and offer a fabulous panorama of Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas, the surrounding majestic brown mountains and, in direct contrast, the deep blue Atlantic Ocean.
Smoking is not allowed in the house ! However, the terraces do not mind.

A one-off cleaning fee of 80 euros is added to the booking price, which is payable in cash on handover.

The Finca del Arte beautiful outdoor restaurant
The Tasca del Arte is a cute little tapas bar, which invites you into the morning hours to enjoy delicious wines, and offers a nice selection of tapas. The bar also offers wifi for free.
At The Treehouse Grill & Bar you will be served great dishes under English direction. Wifi for free here too.
Chayofa is the ideal place to spend a quiet, relaxing holiday. Despite the tranquillity and the distance to the tourist centres, you will find all you need in Chayofa: supermarket, bars, restaurants, hairdresser, doctor, tennis court
For golfers:
The immediate surroundings are home to a total of six different golf courses, with a training course for beginners to convince anyone of this great, elegant sport. Here you can improve your handicap in the midst of beautiful facilities and in front of a dreamlike backdrop. With seven different golf courses for every player and ideal golfing weather all year round, Tenerife is one of the excellent golfing destinations. Golf courses: Amarilla Golf & Country Club, 18 holes, with spectacular sea views. Las Americas Golf Course, 18 holes, with palm trees, pine trees and ponds.

Location and surroundings of object
Located above Los Cristianos, Chayofa is a gem in the south. It is a very old urbanisation with beautiful trees, narrow streets and detached houses in the Canarian style. There is a country club with tennis facilities and in the centre the Finca del Arte, a restaurant with bar area, mostly outdoors, with frequent live music and Sunday morning pubs. Very quiet to live in and more dignified than many new residential areas
Chayofa is located about 3 km from Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos in the south of Tenerife. The village, which is administered by Arona, is not very touristy and only has a few holiday homes. Peace and quiet is therefore guaranteed here, which in turn makes Chayofa interesting for a relaxing holiday. Nevertheless, you can quickly get to the nearby tourist centres and party there.
Apart from that, Chayofa has everything you need: supermarkets, (reasonably priced) restaurants and bars, and a pharmacy.
The village is characterised by villas with beautiful gardens and there is a communal pool and tennis courts. A visit to the Finca del Arte, as the country house of art is called, is a must. Exhibitions are held there and occasionally a brunch with jazz music.
Chayofa is situated at an altitude of about 300 m and therefore has a pleasant climate all year round. It also has a great view of the tourist centres of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, as well as the mountains and the sea. Chayofa can be reached by bus, for example. On the other hand, a rental car is recommended if you want to explore the island anyway.

Very practical: Your direct neighbour Mrs. Dolores Lopez will hand you the keys and show you around the house. Mrs. Lopez and her German husband will certainly help you with other tasks for a fee.
