The holiday home is situated in a regular residential area; we address our offer to individual travellers who do not feel comfortable in a typical touristic environment. Location, appearance and equipment of the domicile are private and honest.

Location and surroundings of object
Port Charlotte is characterised by the Myacca River, clean beaches, unspoiled nature and a constantly pleasant climate. Centrally located on I75 between Fort Myers and Sarasota, it is an ideal starting point for exploring Southwest Florida.
Founded in the late 1950s and thus a fairly young city, Port Charlotte presents itself with about 265 km of man-made canals, estuaries, golf and tennis courses, nature hiking trails... and water, water everywhere; for boating, fishing and beautiful photos of breathtaking sunsets over the banks of the Peace River.
The community of Port Charlotte consists primarily of single-family homes surrounded by various condominiums and townhouses. The community is home to approximately 127,500 residents.
With an area of 2,124 km², Port Charlotte is located north of the Peace River. 265 km of canals and waterways provide access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. Several kilometres of natural shoreline border the Peace River and the Myakka River, making it an ideal choice for waterfront living. In all, about 14,000 private boats, 28 marinas, 15 public beaches, 13 boat ramps and two sailing schools dot the extensive shoreline. Furthermore, you will find about two dozen parks, various recreational areas, nature reserves and a state nature park.
Port Charlotte State Park offers huge boardwalks that many use for walking. Here you can kayak or canoe along the pristine beaches of the Peace and Myakka Rivers.
The Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center covers about 3.4 km² and offers nature trails, picnic areas and recreation programmes. The "Cecil M. Webb Wildlife Management Area" is also very popular among locals. The 500m² area invites hunting, fishing, mud-wrestling and camping. Eco-tours through parts of the over 360km² "Crescent B Ranch" in eastern Charlotte County allow visitors to see the old, original Florida. Swamp buggy tours through the "Telegraph Cypress" swamp await with many attractions such as wild turkeys, aligators and more.
Also worth mentioning and accessible by a short drive: Everglade National Park, one of the most spectacular natural ecosystems in the USA.
21 golf courses, ten public tennis courts, public pools and four "YMCA "s (JVCM) are enjoyed by residents. The canals often serve as venues for various competitions (fishing, boat/yacht races). If you do not have your own boat, you can rent one from one of the numerous boat rental companies.
for 15 years, the baseball team "Texas Rangers" found their home at the "Charlotte County Stadium" (6,000 seats) for autumn training. From February until early April, games of the "Grapefruit League" (Grapefruit League) take place here. After that, smaller leagues play throughout the summer.
The Charlotte County Race Track thrills with car races on an oval asphalt track. Younger kids will have fun with Pop Warner football, Little League baseball and one of Florida's best BMX tracks. There's even a skateboard park.
In the Memorial Auditorium/Civic Center, up to 2,000 people are entertained by great showbiz artists. Concerts, ballet, musicals and comedy are presented in annually recurring events. Antique and art exhibitions are also held here.
With "Disney World", "Sea World" and "Universal Studios" among others, there is a rich abundance of theme parks and other attractions only 3½ hours away by car. "Bush Gardens and Water Park in Tampa are just 2 hours away.

TV entertainment is digitally received by antenna; viewer may select out of a number of programs, including spanish program, religious content and shopping channels. For more entertainment there's always Netflix and the like.
No telephone line is installed in the home. Please use your cell or phone via internet.
A BBQ grill is not provided.
Rental fees include all applicable taxes, electric, water, sewage, heating, cooling, internet. Consumables (gas, soap, toilet paper and the like) and groceries are not included in the rental fee. Final cleaning is charged only if necessary.
