Welcome to the "Kleines Haff Hus", your perfect holiday home in Mönkebude on the Little Lagoon, the Oder Lagoon.
Your holiday home is situated in a sunny and quiet location, just a few steps from the dyke & lagoon (Baltic Sea) and your own bathing bay.
This charming log cabin offers space for up to 4 people on an area of approx. 65 m2 and has a bright and open living/sleeping area with an open kitchen and a shower room on the ground floor, as well as a sleeping area on the gallery. The conservatory offers a retreat or meeting place, here is the dining table (extendable).
The garden with its lawn and spacious wooden terrace offers plenty of opportunities to find a spot in the sun or shade.
There are two deckchairs in the garden shed and 4 cosy garden chairs for the garden table on the wooden terrace.
From the dyke you can enjoy the setting sun (perhaps with a glass of wine?) with a marvellous view of the lagoon with Usedom in the background.
Whether you're on holiday with the family, an active or beach holiday, or you just want to get "north" again, the "Kleines Haff Hus" is the ideal choice for your holiday by the sea.
You are welcome to use our two bicycles to explore the surrounding area. For extensive cycling tours you should bring your own bikes, for which you will find sufficient and safe space in the garden shed (incl. power connection).
There is a modern washing machine and tumble dryer in the house, heating for year-round use and air conditioning for the "hot" times of the year. All the appliances in the house are new and energy-efficient, including the heat pump for heating and cooling.
Your energy consumption is actively supported by photovoltaics (balcony power station with storage).
High-quality insect screens on all windows are a matter of course.
Our WLAN is freely available to you as a guest in the house and on the property.
If you would like to bring your own sailing boat (or for fishing), you can use your own boat mooring in our harbour (by arrangement).
The holiday home estate is car-free, you can drive very close to the house for loading and unloading, and we also have a trolley ready for you. Nothing has to be carried, from daily shopping to heavy suitcases.
A secure car park is available free of charge.

Location and surroundings of object
Discover Mönkebude, a fishing village on the picturesque Szczecin Lagoon coast.
The tranquil fishing village with its old thatched captain's houses is a recognised resort close to the beach.
There are restaurants, a bakery and an ice cream parlour in the village, which is surrounded by water on one side and meadows and an old mixed forest on the other. Numerous cycle paths meander through this landscape far beyond the neighbouring towns of Ueckermünde and Anklam.
Just a short walk from the house is the public bathing area, a wide sandy beach with the typical Baltic Sea beach chairs, a (fish) snack bar and the popular ice cream stand for the little ones. A stone's throw away is the beach restaurant and the sailing harbour.

Enjoy the most beautiful coastline of the German Baltic Sea by bike. The holiday home is located directly on the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path.
The idyllic coastal landscape of the Szczecin Lagoon stretches along the dyke.
Excursions to Usedom and Rügen, to Ueckermünde, Greifswald, Stralsund and Szczecin offer a good starting point.
This accommodation is privately managed by us, we are not commercial hosts, nor do we rent professionally or commercially. EU consumer law in connection with professional hosts does not apply to this rental offer.
As we use our holiday home ourselves, we do not rent it out all year round.

Little Haff House
We felt very comfortable in this small, cozy house. It had everything and even more that you need on vacation! If you're looking for peace, away from the crowds, this is the perfect place! Highly recommended for cyclists! The communication with Mr. Falk was excellent! We gladly recommend the house!

Perfect family vacation in the lovingly renovated holiday home by the Szczecin Lagoon
We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly renovated holiday home by the Szczecin Lagoon in Mönkebude! The surroundings are simply dreamlike, with nature right at the doorstep. The beach is within walking distance and ideal for families with children, as the water is very shallow. Our children particularly enjoyed the playground right by the beach. The house itself is excellently furnished, with a new, high-quality kitchen and all the necessary utensils for a comfortable stay. There are several options for dining at the beach. In the surrounding towns, there is also a zoo and various museums – so there is something for everyone.
Also worth mentioning is the friendliness of the landlords, who were always helpful and very nice. We can highly recommend this holiday home and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great holiday accommodation to feel comfortable
What should we say? We immediately booked again for September while still on vacation.
It's just sensational here, the surroundings, the tranquility, the house is the icing on the cake.
The house is clean, unobtrusive, not overloaded, and individually furnished.

Great holiday home, just a few steps to the waterfront.
We had a great time at Haff-Hus and are really very satisfied. In the super quiet holiday home, we lacked nothing. It is fully and nicely furnished, the charm of the wooden house has a special coziness and gave us a relaxed holiday feeling.
The entire booking process was uncomplicated, the landlords were very nice and reachable promptly by email but also via WhatsApp.
The house is small but airy and open. No comparison to other accommodations we have had so far.
With the available bicycles, you can quickly reach nearby Ueckermünde (with pubs right on the water). Unfortunately, the fish restaurant in Mönkebude had not yet opened, but there are delicious (real) rolls in the morning.
Everything fit together perfectly for us. We will definitely "norden" here again someday.

We fell in love with the log cabin on the Szczecin Lagoon as unexpectedly as spontaneously. We simply couldn't resist the immediate location on the dyke with its small harbour and bathing jetty ... We are private and not commercial landlords. So this holiday home is not a commercial holiday property, it is rented out to holidaymakers outside of our own use. No letting to youth groups. Please bring your own bed linen, sheets and towels (can be rented through the tourist office).
