Everything was great, we felt very comfortable! A hairdryer was also available. Only the shower has seen better days.

The Villa Margherita is our regular quarters in the Cilento; we have booked it for the seventh time already. We particularly enjoy the beautiful, quiet location with a dreamlike view of the Gulf of Policastro once again. We love having breakfast on the veranda right by the house or sitting on the terrace further down in the lovingly landscaped garden to read or simply admire the idyllic landscape. That the facility is somewhat aging does not bother us, as we are often on the go or outside. It would be desirable to have a bit more crockery - for example, there were only two cups. And a dishwasher is actually part of the standard equipment by now. The cleanliness is commendable! Thanks to the extremely warm, friendly, and very responsible manager Gina, who lovingly and carefully takes care of the property, everything is spotless. We have truly grown fond of Gina. Likewise, Scario, our favorite place in Cilento. Since there is no road along the coast to the next town, it is very quiet here - we always come in May. The Lungomare attracts with its beautiful houses, some recommended restaurants, and the small harbor. Moreover, the pretty place is an ideal starting point for excursions into the hinterland with impressive towns like Pisciotta or along the picturesque coast to the nearby Basilicata.
