If you dream of waking up to the sound of seagulls and want to treat yourself to a break in a spacious and versatile apartment, the "Penthouse am Alten Zeughaus," dating back to 1886, is the perfect place for you.
This industrial-style apartment offers ample space for the whole family as well as couples. It features two bedrooms with double beds and flat-screen TVs, where you can gaze at the sky from the comfort of your bed. There are also two bathrooms, one of which includes a walk-in shower and a freestanding bathtub.
The large loft provides additional sleeping space, a unique view of the apartment, and a play and relaxation area, thanks to its large play net (supporting up to 200 kg) where both adults and children can romp and relax.
The spacious living and dining area, furnished with high-quality furniture and featuring a large glass fireplace, is the perfect gathering place for convivial evenings of cooking or for relaxing with Magenta TV. If you prefer to enjoy the last rays of sunshine outdoors, the large south-facing balcony with its panoramic views over the rooftops of Flensburg offers the ideal spot.

The 34-kilometer-long Flensburg Fjord is considered one of the most beautiful water sports areas in the Baltic Sea and offers ideal conditions for sailors, surfers, and water sports enthusiasts. Sailing can be learned in one of the many sailing clubs or at the Hanseatic Yacht School in Glücksburg. Berths are available in club-owned marinas, the idyllic guest sailor harbor, or other marinas. Around the Holnis peninsula, surfers will find suitable spots for almost any wind direction, and diving clubs invite visitors to explore the underwater world. Of course, the fjord can also be enjoyed from land: Fine sandy beaches and clean seawater on both shores invite swimming and relaxation. Watching the boats go by or lingering in one of the many street cafés, you'll quickly experience the special Flensburg holiday atmosphere. Flensburg's old town is also worth a visit. Historic merchants' houses, lovingly restored facades, and winding alleyways tell the rich story of this former port and trading city. Flensburg's Rum & Sugar Mile traces the history of the West Indies trade and showcases the architectural legacy of the great merchant families, sugar refiners, and rum houses. A visit to the Flensburg Brewery and an exploration of the city's maritime culture are also highly recommended.

Beautiful and clean apartment. However, it is also warm at higher temperatures. The function of the windows is not quite simple. Shopping facilities are within walking distance. A bus runs in the immediate vicinity. The harbor can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes.

A very nice and interesting apartment. Good shopping opportunities nearby. Very good bus connection to the city and surroundings. If we come to Flensburg again, we will definitely try to book the apartment again, should it be available at that time.

A super well-furnished apartment. We felt very comfortable during the week, despite some bad weather. The city center can be reached on foot in a short time. It takes less than 10 minutes on foot to get to the fjord. All supermarkets are just around the corner. We would come back anytime.

We (5 women) felt very comfortable in the penthouse. The layout, cleanliness, and style were great. At first, we were not impressed with the surroundings, but that quickly changed. We would always book the penthouse again if we were to visit Flensburg.
