The holiday home (80 sqm living space) is picturesquely nestled in the Grafenau district “Haus im Wald.” The house is situated directly above the romantic Ilz valley on a hill. It is bathed in sunlight all day and offers a fantastic view over the gently rolling landscape of the southern Bavarian Forest.
The log house is approx. 80 m² in size, surrounded by a garden of approx. 400 m², and offers a small kitchen, spacious living and dining room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms with 4 beds.

Hiking vacation
We enjoyed our stay in the holiday home very much. We particularly liked the great view and the very quiet location of the house. The equipment and cleanliness of the house left nothing to be desired. Shopping, the bakery, and the restaurant were easily reachable on foot. Communication with the landlord via email was friendly, informative, and totally hassle-free. We hardly used the offers of the National Park Card.

Vacation with Grandchildren
The property has a beautiful location with a panoramic view when the weather allows it.
We were somewhat surprised by the distance to Grafenau. Even Google Maps was sometimes confused. All in all, it was a nice vacation.
