Description
This is our luxury apartment for 4 people with a private wellness area.
In front of the entrance door is the cozy garden, where up to 4 people can sit comfortably.
The entrance door is a large glass door that you can open completely in summer.
Coming through the entrance door, you are on the first floor: the living and dining room.
The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and 2 cozy, inviting chairs. This way you can sit comfortably in front of the television.
The television has German channels.
In the kitchen there is a wooden table with four chairs, as well as a coffee and tea corner where you can nicely prepare your coffee or tea.
The kitchen also has a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, an oven with microwave combination, as well as pots and dishes + cutlery, so you can cook comfortably. If you go upstairs via the staircase, you will reach the bedrooms.
The first bedroom has a large double bed.
Next to the bed are 2 bedside tables with bedside lamps.
There is also a wardrobe in this bedroom where you can store your things, and a mirror also hangs in the bedroom.
If you go through the salon door, you will enter the bathroom. This is equipped with a wellness shower, a toilet, and a washbasin with a large mirror and 2 drawers.
If you go through the other door, you enter the other bedroom, which is also furnished with a large double bed.
This bedroom has a wardrobe and also 2 bedside tables with lamps.
If you go through the salon doors in this room, you enter the second bathroom.
This also has a wellness shower, a toilet, and a washbasin with mirror. The entire apartment has underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi.
You will also receive a digital parking permit so you can park your car for free near the apartment.
Wellness area
The private wellness area is spread over 2 levels and is located in the apartment complex where the luxury apartment for 4 people is also situated.
Downstairs is the wellness area and upstairs is the relaxation/meditation room. In the wellness area, a large Finnish steam sauna, which you can also use as an infrared sauna, is available to you.
There is also a 2-person whirlpool with waterfall, as well as an ice bath, a shower, a toilet, and a hand washbasin.
In the upper area there are 2 deck chairs, a coffee and tea corner, as well as a full-body massage chair.
Two yoga mats and a meditation corner are also located on this floor. You are welcome to reserve a wellness stay of 2.5 hours with us.

Location and surroundings of object
The spacious flat is located 100 metres from the beach, the promenade and only a two-minute walk from the village.
Egmond aan Zee is a seaside resort in the municipality of Bergen in the province of North Holland. Egmond consists of three villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan den Hoef. Egmond aan Zee is the best known of the three villages. More than 1000 years ago, a fishing village was established here, but since the beginning of the last century, the village has also become interesting for tourists. Both the fishing and the tourist past are still clearly visible in the townscape. The Jan van Speyk lighthouse stands prominently on the beach promenade and is also easily visible from the village.
The village offers holidaymakers plenty of entertainment. There are many terraces, restaurants and a shopping centre. In summer, an event with lots of village entertainment is organised every week, which can be admired with relish from a terrace on the Pompplein square.
Egmond aan Zee has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafés and of course the beautiful lighthouse.
The shops are open seven days a week all year round and are easily accessible.
Adjacent to the development of Egmond aan Zee begins the beautiful natural landscape of the North Holland Dune Reserve, where you can admire the wild horses and the Scottish Highland cattle.
Egmond can offer a beach as well as a beautiful promenade and a welcoming village centre. You are guaranteed not to be bored on the beach, as numerous activities are often organised here. Egmond is also situated in a beautiful area surrounded by extensive dunes. Nearby are also other beautiful destinations, such as Bergen aan Zee and the forests. Cycling and hiking are very popular in this area.
Egmond aan Zee is also close to Alkmaar, a city that has plenty of culture and history, such as the famous cheese market, which is certainly worth a visit.
Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are easy to reach.

With friends discovered Egmond + North Holland
We stayed with several couples at Gelukkig aan Zee and everything was well organized.
We liked Egmond and would like to return to this beautiful coastal town.
North Holland is highly recommended, as there is much to see.
Perhaps we will manage to return around Easter, then we would like to see the tulip fields.

New apartment with a fantastic spa stay.
New apartment in a renovated complex with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor, comfortably furnished and clean.
We have been to "Happy by the Sea" several times already, but this will not be the last time, as we look forward to visiting the new private wellness area again. We had a wonderful evening there.

We are Patrick and Sylvia and come from the have together made a lot of beach vacations. A holiday for us had always near the sea have always dreamed of, and to live itself close to the beach. Near the sea we came namely completely to rest and could enjoy our time delightfully without reservations. In March 2016 was finally time. Our dream came true: We bought our house with the summer house in Egmond aan Zee. First, a more elaborate conversion brought a lot of work, but now everything is completely new and just as we have liked. Egmond aan Zee met all our housing requirements.
