This charming glamping tent lodge offers a truly immersive nature experience in the heart of De Friese Wouden. Nestled on a wooden platform with views over peaceful sheep pastures, the bell tents are tastefully decorated and exude rustic comfort. Each tent has its own fire pit with a tripod pan for outdoor cooking, while a shared kitchen at the nearby 4-star campsite provides modern convenience. The rear of the tent opens directly onto serene green landscapes—perfect for a quiet morning coffee or a romantic sunset moment.
Surrounded by stunning nature reserves like 't Bûtenfjild, Twijzeler Mieden, and Lauwersoog, this location is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, and bird watchers. Rent a bike and set off directly from the campsite along scenic cycling routes. Visit the historical city of Dokkum, one of the famous Frisian Eleven Cities, or take a day trip to Leeuwarden or Groningen for culture and shopping. The sandy recreational beach at Schuilenburg is only 4 km away, ideal for a refreshing dip in summer, while nature lovers shouldn’t miss Nationaal Park De Alde Feanen, just a short drive from the property.

What a hidden gem! The glamour tents are beautifully decorated and offer a cozy escape in nature. The campfire was an enchanting addition for a relaxing evening with a glass of wine while we watched the sheep in the field. Highly recommended for couples!

Our stay in the bell tent was quite pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful. We enjoyed cooking outdoors and appreciated the nearby public kitchen as an alternative. A perfect base for our bike rides in De Friese Wouden.
