Our holiday home is located on the side arm of the Timmeler Meer. From the jetty, you can take your own boat directly onto the lake or out into the canals.
The sandy beach of the Timmeler Meer is about 50 metres from the house, with a beautiful beach café with a great outdoor terrace and a view of the Timmeler Meer. You will also find a large playground and a beach sauna.
The nearest supermarket and bakery are about 500 metres away and are also open on Sundays.
100 metres to the harbour, from where guided trips with the flat-bottomed ship "Gretchen" start through the nature reserve "Fehntertief". Explore the lake and the canals with pedal boats or motor boats, which you can hire at the harbour.
Another attraction in Timmel is the RTC, one of Lower Saxony's largest equestrian facilities.
Combine your visit to the Fehnmuseum "Eiland" in Westgrossfehn with a tea ceremony and very delicious cakes.

Beautiful vacation
We had a very nice time in Timmel! The holiday home is a 5-minute walk from the Timmeler Meer! The holiday home itself was very nice, but unfortunately not quite clean! The beds were very comfortable, though! Overall, we felt very comfortable!

Leider war unter der Gemüseschublade im Kühlschrank vom Vormieter nach Angabe des Mieters etwas ausgelaufen, wir geloben Besserung.

The house number "1a" is program!
The house is located on a beautiful property by the water. The furnishings - both inside and outside - leave nothing to be desired; everything has really been thought of down to the smallest detail!
We had two relaxing weeks at Timmeler Meer and would love to come back!
