Old country house from the fifteenth century, where the charm of the past is in perfect harmony with the modern conveniences. It's the first house of the town of Cascia along the provincial road towards Reggello Valdarno, a short distance from the old church of San Pietro.
Thanks to a careful restoration, the original stones are recovered in the structure of the building, which is divided into seven comfortable apartments with evocative names of the area.
The view of the landscape, with the rolling hills of Pratomagno, are outlined by the window frames, almost as if they were paintings.
From the villa you can also easily visit the main cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo, where you can spend your days immersed in culture and typical Tuscan food and wine at local restaurants. Florence is a 30-minute drive, Arezzo within less than 50 minutes, Siena 1 hour.
In the villa we organize theme weeks with tastings and guided visits to places of artistic and natural beauty of this area.
It is the perfect place for anyone looking for a holiday of sun, nature, history and art.
If you don't want to go out, the house has many opportunities; a large garden, BBQ, pool, tennis court / football field.
Each flat is equipped with heating, oven, dishwasher, WiFi Internet and satellite TV. At guests' disposal swimming pool, tennis court, covered garage. We were 2 weeks in the Villa Olena. With 3 dogs. We liked the house very much. A well-kept area with a large garden and great pool. Great for dogs. The first week we had the pool all to ourselves! We stayed in a ground floor apartment. Facility has experienced better times. There would have to be exchanged one time or another. If you do not have high standards it is ok.

We have 2 fantastic weeks spent! The house oertrof our expectations because the photo "s on the site by far not the really nice approach, it is a paradise on earth ... The way the house is renovated testimony of love and passion.

Villa Olena is near Reggello, and this town is so 'n thirty kilometers southeast of Florence. S "morning you can get walking fresh bread and fruit. S "evenings you can stroll to the pizzeria and restaurant opposite next to the church (highly recommended.) In the" center "of Reggello are some more restaurants, shops, mini mercado and a trattoria to have a great can get readymade bite. Figlime In Valdarno, so "n 7 kilometers, are a number of larger supermarkets and you can train to Florence suits (better than risking fines in Florence). For exploring Florence. Chianti and northern Umbria an excellent location.The house has a large garden with several terraces, good parking and a swimming pool and tennis court. The cottage is one of a number of apartments in a bigger house, next to and adjacent to each other. The water in the pool was mid-September, just too cold to swim. Apparently it is somewhat noisy. Our neighbors complained at least several times by banging on their ceiling with a broomstick while we did not have the idea very noisy zijn.De large bedroom and bathroom are excellent. The be

excellent accomodation, everything you need is there. Annoying is the location right along the way because it gives so much noise to sleep with the windows open is not possible and thus the temperature in the house even further oploopt.De location near the highway is very good very good sites which can be reached . The owners are very friendly and helpful, constantly working to maintain the complex.

Villa Olena is really worth the long trip worthwhile. Beautiful house in a wonderful setting. Near delicious restaurants. Florence close, but the house is nice from the urban rush off. In the spring fine weather, especially for tennis. Pool was a little cold.
