Description
The Madrisa-Alm has room for 19 persons (optimal 14-16) in 4 double rooms, one triple room and 2 four-bed rooms.
The hut is oil centrally heated and also has a wood stove.
There are two shower rooms with two washbasins each and three toilets.
Large lounge with stereo, DVD and satellite TV.
Over-complete kitchen with large new fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, Saeco coffee machine. You will find raclettes for 16 persons, hand mixers, enough baking trays, big pots and pans, everything your heart desires.
Large panoramic terrace with deckchairs, barbecue etc.
In summer a road leads to the hut, in winter it is a 15 minute walk.
Large stock of drinks at reasonable prices, basic foodstuffs (spices, sugar, salt, ...) in stock.
Ideal for families with children (toboggan slope right by the house, no traffic, lots of nature, two highchairs, children's travel cot, lots of games and handicrafts).
Ideally suited as a seminar house.

Directly in front of the hut you can toboggan and make wonderful snowshoe hikes. In summer you have many hiking possibilities directly from the house. There are also good hikes for families with children. We have created a hut folder for you, from which you can take tours for children (also with strollers). Here you will also find longer hiking tours (up to day tours).
Gargellen is the highest village of the Montafon and is extremely snow-sure.
The skiing area Schafberg is ideal for families, but also for freeride friends and tourers. It is only a few minutes away.
The Silvretta-Nova, also only a few minutes away, offers everything on the subject of winter sports.
From the Bella Nova restaurant, an unprepared downhill run, suitable only for good skiers and boarders, leads to the Madrisa Alm.
The next areas Hochjoch and Golm are also highly recommended.
All areas are included in the Montafon ski pass.
In St. Gallenkirch there is an illuminated night toboggan run.
Numerous ski tours lure the tourers into the mountains, here we have some suggestions for you in our hut folder. Cross-country skiers get their money's worth on the 28 km trail in St. Gallenkirch or in the cross-country paradise in nearby Silbertal and on the Bielerhöhe.

The Montafon offers everything your heart desires: from horseback riding to guided llama tours, from thrills in climbing gardens and Alpine Coaster on the Golm to an extensive sports program (biking, skating, swimming and much more) at the Aktiv Club Montafon. Children's adventure trails can be found on the Schafberg (Schmuggi-Luggi trail), on the Golm (Golmis trail) and the Bärenland (from the Silbertal).
If you prefer to do something on your own and alone with the family, you can find impressive waterfalls, beautiful views and always nice resting places with children's playgrounds on many hiking trails.
Even in bad weather there are many alternatives to hiking. From adventure pools to museums to indoor climbing, there is something for everyone. We have numerous suggestions for activities on our hut folder (enough for the next 10 years)! Your family Weber
