The state capital of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania with its unique castle should definitely be on your to-do list. The nearby Dümmer See offers a variety of bathing and fishing opportunities. Many hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity invite you to explore the varied surroundings. Your four-legged friend will also feel at home on the large, fenced-in property.

Activities nearby: The region around the Dümmer See is not only a wonderful recreation area but is also the perfect starting point for trips to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. Swimming on the shallow, child-friendly beach and from the jetty is possible on Lake Dümmer, as well as boat and fishing tours with a rowing boat. However, the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is hiking, cycling or inline skating. A first-class cycle path, almost 15 km long, leads directly from Dümmer to Wittenburg, where there is also an adventure park with a climbing garden, an all-year indoor ski area and a quad track and go-kart track.
