The apartment is located in a well-kept residence surrounded by Mediterranean flora in a quiet and low-traffic neighborhood above Locarno. Due to the sunny hillside location, it offers a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore. Your shopping is best done in the city of Locarno, only a few minutes away by car. In the village of Orselina (about 1.5 km) you will find a small store and restaurants. In the wonderful Parco di Orselina, with its magnificent amphitheater, many cultural and culinary events take place every year. Orselina is famous for the pilgrimage church Madonna del Sasso. With the modern cable car, about 1 km away, you can travel in a few minutes from Orselina to Cardada and further with the chair lift to Cimetta at 1670 meters, an easily accessible viewpoint with many hiking possibilities.

It is a beautifully furnished, bright, and cozy apartment with a great view and a lovely balcony. We were there over the New Year, and you could make yourself comfortable in the sunshine starting at 9:30 AM! The kitchen is very well equipped. Nothing is missing! It was also very quiet! The instructions for the way and some devices in the house were very clear. The key handover also went well and easily! We would book the apartment again!

A well-equipped apartment for 2 people with the famous lake view. Directly located on the lower panoramic path, bus stop and very good bakery reachable in 10 minutes on foot. Unfortunately, the house is very noisy, so you experience the neighbors' TV program live.
