At the edge of the village Ellemeet at the foot of the Brouwersdam.
The small village Ellemeet is located on the coast set back between Scharendijke (2km) and Renesse (3km). Ellemeet is especially quiet and is a good starting point for a varied holiday. Water enthusiasts attracts mainly by Scharendijke, Den Osse Brouwershaven and with large marina, dive center and boat rentals. On the Brouwers dam, which starts on the coast in Ellemeet and closes the Grevelingenmeer from the North Sea, there is a water park and a surf center. Particularly vivid is the way of Renesse, the nightlife is there especially popular among young people. About a 800m long road through fields and meadows to reach the North Sea beach in Ellemeet, which has a specially designated section for water sports and attracts over Renesse all along the North Sea coast of Schouwen-Duiveland to Oosterscheldekering. This impressive building, you can visit and visit the amusement park Neeltje Jans. The nearest golf course is in Bruinisse (26 km).

Interesting mix of new and old
It is an old small house owned by a local farming family. We were received very kindly. It was clean and equipped with many things you need on vacation. We were there with our children, for whom provisions were also made (high chair, bed, and toys), and the garden was particularly great for them. Here you have an unobstructed view of fields. There is a spacious shed for bicycles. The kitchen and the living room are cozy and modernly furnished.
Since it is an old house, I must unfortunately report that it has a bit of a musty smell and is partially equipped with older furnishings, especially the bathroom and bedroom. The stairs to the upper rooms are steep.
Overall, we enjoyed our time! Thank you to the landlords!

Vacation with dog
We had a super great vacation! Perfectly suitable for dogs, as the property is enclosed by a hedge. The house is simple but very cozy! We really felt comfortable. The location is optimal, close to the beach. We can only recommend it!

A great vacation
Our holiday started with a nice welcome. Even though we were a bit late, we were expected. We were given a brief introduction to the house. I felt like I was back in my grandparents' time, but everything works perfectly. For the kids, it was initially a bit adventurous because one light switch was still turned on and off using a string and was not recognized as such. It is a beautiful cozy house and has a great garden. Although it is located directly on the road, we did not notice any traffic noise. We were there with 2 adults and 3 children (12 to 16 years old). It is centrally located and you can reach the beach in five minutes by bike. It's not much further to the Brouwersdam. We would love to come back.

The house is well located. It has a great garden surrounded by hedges. The large beach is easily reachable on foot. At the beach, you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or have lunch. There are also parking spaces at the beach, some of which are free. We were received very kindly and also bid farewell in a nice way. It was a very nice vacation. Anytime again.

Holiday with a dog
The house was very cozy, a short walk to the beach, great garden, especially for dog owners because it is completely fenced. For 6 people it would be a bit tight in bad weather, but more than enough for 4. Very nice welcome upon arrival. Would love to come back again.
