Description
Paradise is located in the heart of the Emsland region in Meppen-Hüntel, just 80 metres from the water, in the midst of relaxing nature.
On 177sqm and three levels you can experience a spacious and stylish house that leaves nothing to be desired. A large fully equipped kitchen, utility room with washing machine and dryer, a huge living and common room with integrated piano, soapstone stove, two sofas and an armchair as well as a noble table form the first level together with a play area and a guest toilet. Three bedrooms with 6 to max. 7 sleeping places (including a huge family bed - usable for 3-4 people), a large bathroom with shower, bathtub, WC form the second level. In the converted attic there is also an approx. 20 sqm large office or work room, which can be used in many ways. In the outdoor area (approx. 900 sqm of land), a beautifully maintained garden as well as a large covered terrace invite you to linger. An oasis of peace or also of playing and romping - depending on how you consider it to be used. Numerous useful things like sandbox, swing, slide, trampoline, barbecue etc. may be used without fail. If you like, you can harvest strawberries, raspberries, apples or pears, depending on the season, or you can dig and plant a little yourself in the prepared beds.

Location and surroundings of object
Quasi directly next to Paradise, at a distance of approx. 80m, is the beautiful Dortmund-Ems Canal - in the transition to the Ems - with its well-known cycle path. From here, you can explore the Emsland region and even the coast by bike. Furthermore, in 5 minutes you can reach two wonderful bistros at the Hünteler Schleuse by bike from here. Also only about 5 minutes away (about 10 minutes on foot) is the FunPark adventure park. Whether go-karting, car racing, paintball, the famous world map on the cooling tower of the former gas power station - many things are offered here... The holiday park Schloß Dankern can be reached from your location in 10-15 minutes by car. A highlight in the Emsland with its bathing lakes and the most varied adventure possibilities - especially for the family. Beautiful small towns such as Meppen, Haren and Lingen are also well worth a visit, can be reached in a short distance and invite you to linger. Our neighbouring country Holland can be reached in about 20 minutes. I would like to recommend the large market in the town of Emmen, which takes place every Friday. Also the zoo Wildlands. - The attic offers a computer or online workstation and also has a fantastic view.
- Throughout the house as well as on the property you will find numerous games, playground equipment and the like. Why? True to the motto "Save the game!", it is important to me/us that as many people as possible have access to good games and ideally use them.
- Due to the natural location of the house, a lot of bird species show up. They like to set the mood for the day, especially in the early morning. Feel free to listen to it outside and enjoy the parodies....

Relaxed spring holiday in Emsland
Our family (2 adults, 2 children) was guests in the Paradise Emsland during the last week of March.
The house offers plenty of space, so even in bad weather (we had a lot of rain) you can easily keep yourself entertained, leave your board games at the large dining table, and also find enough opportunities to retreat. It is quiet and you won't notice anything from the neighbors.
For our 7-year-old, there were also nice toys like the train set, Kapla building blocks, and the play grocery store, and the soccer goals in the garden were highly coveted by both boys when the weather was dry.
For those who cook themselves, there is a large gas stove and an electric oven, as well as plenty of space to cook even with several people. There are a variety of spices, oil, vinegar, etc., so you don't have to carry everything from home.
We found the idea of a pantry with durable basic food items, which can be used when needed, and in return, you can put something else durable in it later, essentially replenishing, a good one.
On one of the dry days, we visited Schloss Dankern amusement park, which is only a 15-minute drive from the vacation home. In the preseason, it was not crowded yet, so we could try out all the rides. Only for the roller coaster, which the children wanted to try out, we had to wait about 25 minutes.
At this time of the year, some leisure activities and cafes are still closed for winter, so you should inquire about their opening hours in advance.
The area is great for cycling. By car, you can take some nice walks/tours within a half-hour radius - lakes, biotopes, moors, heath, forests. Grocery shopping is also easy by car. If you want to go shopping, you will find plenty of nice pedestrian areas, even in the Netherlands, with everything your heart desires.
We happily recommend the vacation home!

1A accommodation for families
We were there with 2 children and a dog. The house is very large - enough space for everyone - well equipped. Quiet location near the forest and canal.
The children can play in the house, in the garden, or on the street in front of the house.
Really great!
We took a night walk along the canal and enjoyed the surroundings.
Our dog also felt very comfortable.
Nearby:
Schloss Dankern, Linus Lingen, Wildlands Emmen, Baggerpark... there is plenty to discover!
So a great accommodation - highly recommended and a very good alternative to the holiday homes in Schloss Dankern.
We will definitely come back!

A recommended holiday home!
For our grandchildren (3 and 6 years old), there were plenty of play opportunities in the house and garden! The property is protected by a hedge, so even small children can play unsupervised.
We found the landlord to be uncomplicated, friendly, and helpful.
The house was clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished (according to the photos on the website). The location is ideal for outings in the surrounding area. A place to feel comfortable for the whole family.
