Interior description of the vacation home on the south beach
When you enter the vacation home, you are in the hallway, where you will find plenty of storage space for shoes and luggage and are greeted by small lighthouses, seagulls and little ships. A few steps further on, you pass the modern bathroom, where you have plenty of space and light to prepare for your excursions or get ready for bed. In the large, no-step shower, you have plenty of space for real wellness moments and, of course, to wash the sand off your feet.
You then enter the living room with the open kitchen, from where you can access the apartment's two bedrooms.
The soft couch and cozy armchairs invite you to make yourself comfortable for as long as you like. Watch your favorite shows with a clear conscience, without other obligations chasing you. Or would you prefer to read that book you've been meaning to read for a long time? Then put your feet up and make yourself comfortable in the wing chair. When it's time for a snack or a proper meal, you'll find everything you need in the kitchen to prepare delicacies large and small.
Of course, you could also simply heat up a quick pizza or prepare take-away food from the restaurant. You can then eat at the large dining table, which is also perfect for sitting down with a drink, chatting or playing board games.
In the bedrooms, you will find a double bed and two single beds just waiting for you to drop off at the end of your day and make yourself comfortable before sailing off to the land of dreams. When you wake up the next morning feeling invigorated and refreshed, you could even sit on the balcony for breakfast.
The balcony with a sea view is perfect for sunbathing and taking in the salty sea air while listening to the waves.

The vacation home is located on the 1st floor of the "" apartment house. The house is so close to the beach that you can almost jump into the Baltic Sea from the balcony. It is particularly nice that there is a bakery in the Strandburg, where you can get fresh bread rolls every morning. There is also an ice cream parlor and a 24/7 Kiosk selling a colorful assortment of sundries. As the Strandburg has a large elevator, you can easily reach the vacation home even with a lot of luggage or a baby carriage.
There are also many opportunities for water sports in the immediate vicinity. These include sailing, surfing, kite surfing, water skiing, SUP, diving and more. If you have never done anything like this before but would like to try it out, you can book a course at the famous "Charchulla" water sports school.
Of course, you also have plenty of culinary options. Ice cream parlors, snack bars with snacks or quick meals, numerous restaurants, bars and cafés can also be found on the beach promenade.

Directly on the beach, more sea is not possible: the south beach is the most popular beach on the island with fine sand and is monitored by the DLRG. The vacation home is located on the 1st floor with southeast balcony in the apartment house "Die Strandburg" directly on the fine sandy south beach of the sunny island of Fehmarn.

Beautiful apartment in a good location.
Beautiful apartment and good, nice location. Technical devices were up to date and the Wi-Fi was correspondingly fast. A bit too much decoration and the available cabinets were somewhat overcrowded with all sorts of things! The included beach chair was a nice detail.

A beautiful cozy apartment that is really well equipped, where one can feel very comfortable. The view of the sea is stunning. The apartment is highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment
Prime location, apartment furnished with a lot of love, but therefore somewhat overloaded with decor and (too) many cushions! Here, less would be more! Unfortunately, the actual bed in the children's room is totally worn out (please replace the slatted frame and mattress), so the also available folding bed has been used, which has good sleeping comfort. Otherwise, the apartment is very nice and clean! To the holiday rental: EUR 30,-- per laundry package is quite a lot, and the beds weren't even made! Outrageous! Our vacation certainly does not start with making beds! We have really never experienced this anywhere else except in Denmark (where they know this). We did not like this at all!
