Here you'll experience a beach holiday as it should be: feet in the sand in the morning, falling asleep to the sound of the sea in the evening. And the best part: your dog is warmly welcome!
Location directly at the south beach – your spot by the sea
Step out of your vacation home and you're practically standing in the sand. The is so close to the water that you can hear the sea rushing and taste the salty air on your tongue. Just 510 meters separate you from the fine sandy south beach.
The ground floor location makes it particularly easy to step outside with your four-legged friend. A quick morning walk before the coffee is ready? No problem. One more evening stroll to the water? You're there in two minutes.
In the Strandburg itself, you'll find a bakery for fresh rolls, an ice cream parlor for sweet moments, and a 24/7 kiosk for everything you need spontaneously. From here, you can walk for miles along the yellow sandy beach or circle Lake Burger to reach Burgstaaken.
Burgstaaken with its harbor is just 1.4 km away. Here you can buy freshly caught fish directly from the cutter, take a trip on a fishing boat, or try your luck fishing. Mirella's Haifischbar, the Submarine Museum, and Funtasia Adventure Minigolf provide variety.
You can easily reach the island's : it's 3.5 km to Burg and 4.6 km to the marine center. The Peyinghaus veterinary practice is only 3.1 km away if your four-legged friend needs help.

The vacation home is located in the Strandburg on the south beach of Fehmarn. The south beach is the most popular bathing beach on the island and offers not only yellow sand and cool water, but also many restaurants, cafés and lots of activities for young and old.

We love it
We have been booking through Inselblume for years, it is always great. The staff is super friendly, the apartments are equipped with everything you need. It is clean, the only issue this time was the windows, which were unfortunately very dirty. We understand that being right by the sea, they get dirty quickly due to the weather, but it's still a shame when you can't look outside nicely. Otherwise, 10/10 Thank you very much. We will come back.
