Here in Landkirchen you'll find the perfect combination of rural tranquility and central location to explore the entire island. The fenced garden and quiet residential area make this vacation home an ideal retreat for families and groups.
Location in Landkirchen – between village life and nature experiences
Located off the main road in a quiet side street, you'll stay in the heart of Landkirchen. The peaceful village offers everything for daily needs: the bakery provides fresh rolls in the morning, the bike rental supplies wheels for your island explorations, and the restaurant "Dat ole Aalhus" serves North German specialties in a cozy half-timbered atmosphere.
Water sports enthusiasts will find not only rental equipment at the local surf shop, but also surf and kite courses for all ages. From here you can reach the most beautiful surf and kite spots on the island within minutes. These windswept coastal sections are of course also perfect for long walks with your dog.
The Meereszentrum in Burg (2.2 km) and the Galileo Wissenswelt with butterfly park (1.9 km) offer exciting destinations for the whole family. are easily accessible from here. Those who want to see the island from above can take a sightseeing flight with island pilot Klaus Skerra from nearby Neujellingsdorf airfield (less than 10 minutes by car).
The island's 78 km of cycling and hiking trails are optimally connected from Landkirchen. It's only 6 km to Südstrand beach and 3.5 km to the island capital Burg. In summer, regular flea markets take place at the nearby soccer field, where you can discover special holiday souvenirs.

From here you can reach all rooms of the ground-floor vacation home. The kitchen's clever layout provides enough space for several amateur chefs to work simultaneously. While dinner sizzles away, conversation flows especially well over a glass of wine.
The centerpiece is the spacious living room with its inviting couch. From here you have a view of the fenced garden where children and dogs can play safely. On warm evenings, the large barbecue invites you to sociable grill parties. The dining table offers space for shared meals, game nights or cozy get-togethers.
The three bedrooms are cleverly distributed throughout the apartment. You reach two of them via a separate hallway area. The room with the special bunk bed (bottom 140x200 cm, top 90x200 cm) is perfect for siblings or teenagers. In the second bedroom, a comfortable double bed ensures restful nights.
The modern bathroom pampers you with a spacious walk-in shower where you can rinse off sand and salt water in relaxation. The additional underfloor heating makes the room a wellness oasis, especially in the cooler season.

Great time
We were in Inselblume 5 from December 25 to December 30, 2024, and it is highly recommended. Super clean, everything you need, and almost everything is there for small children. The city of Burg is just a stone's throw away. We will only book this vacation apartment and will do so again for next summer. Hopefully, it is still available.

Small but with a big bang
Cute little apartment with a terrace that invites you to barbecue through the fireplace. Equipment is top everything is available. Even the four-legged friends find a place here!!! Really recommendable!!!! Would love to come back
